I really enjoyed staying at Harris' house. The house is very pretty and the host is extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. (The house is exactly what appears on the photos.) Very highly recommended!
Was the best choice ever. Beautiful place, all very clean and setting up. Amazing Hostess very nice person. I was so happy from my friend staying there while he was in Boston to run the marathon. I felt like he was staying in a family home. I am so glad and happy. 100% recommended to stay there! Excellent location, close to the T and stores. Perfect!
My visit with Harris was nothing short of wonderful. Harris is a most gracious host. He offered to pick me up from the subway at Porter Square and offered to give directions around the Boston/Cambridge area, if needed. He also had fruit, tea and coffee, and other breakfast items available, if one so desired. As someone who had gone to college in the area many years ago, I was surprisingly quite familiar still with the area. The location is ideal. If you don't drive or want to leave the car while sightseeing it is the perfect place. It is a short walk to the Metro/Red Line at Porter Square and a reasonable walk to Harvard Square. I was in town for a weekend of choral reunion events at Harvard and so walked to the Harvard Square area every day for three days. I got to know the route so well that I no longer needed my GPS while walking the brisk 15-20 minute jaunt. His home is as beautiful as the pictures display. I found it inviting and warm. The room was large, spacious, and clean with a most comfortable queen-sized bed. The neighborhood appeared lovely, quiet, and safe. I would recommend Harris' accommodations to anyone visiting the Cambridge/Boston area. If you like cozy, quiet accommodations and an affable host, this is the place to stay. Thank you, Harris!
Staying on Craigie Street was perfect. My daughter lives in a small apartment in the neighborhood so I'll be back. Harris is organized and very sweet. Room and house was friendly and clean. Like I said, I'll definitely be back.
Harris was a great host! Always kind and respectful. He went to picked me up at the metro station very early in the morning and prepared great breakfast. We had little but great conversations. I wish I could have stayed longer in his beautiful and comfortable house. The room was very spacious and nice. The house was near the metro station, very convenient for visitors! I would totally recommend this place!
The house is a lovely old home in a nice neighborhood, close walking distance to restaurants and the T. We didn't even bother renting a car, and didn't need to. Harris is a warm and gracious host--offering a nice combination of friendship and privacy. We would definitely go back.
I really enjoyed my stay in Harris's house and I told Harris that I would write a review in another language to promote his place to more people.
