The space

WonderINN is tucked away in the quiet nature reserve of Nordre Øyeren, only 25 minutes drive from the center of Oslo. You’ll experience a unique ecosystem where two of Norway’s longest rivers meet, home to more fish and bird species than almost anywhere else in the country. Fishing, bird watching, hiking, biking, canoeing and boat trips are popular activities in the area.
We get frequent visits from small deer, squirrels and more than 270 different bird species, including many migrating birds who gather here before flying on to their final destinations.
Just behind the cabin in the other direction is Østmarka, which offers lakes, hikes and more wildlife. Bring a map or GPS with you because this natural reserve is huge, and you could end up walking to Oslo by accident!

Guest access
Guests can freely use the mirrored glass cabin, wood-fired hot tub, fireplace and outdoor space with barbecue. The annex (suitable for two people) will also be available when 3 or 4 guests are booked to stay. For an additional charge, guests can borrow 2 bikes to explore the area.
There’s also a small pier with a boathouse at the water’s edge, 150 meters walk from the cabin. There we have a canoe available for rent. This enables guests (max 3) to explore the wonderful nature reserve from the water. Beavers, ospreys, eagles, moose and deer are just a few of the animals which can be spotted in the area! Other things to note
There can be a lot of mosquitoes from mid June to mid July. We provide mosquito repellant etc, but they can be quite enthusiastic, especially on the walk through the woods. Therefore we ask that you keep the cabin doors closed as much as possible.
Guests should also know that there is a walk through the woods to reach the cabin. Bring suitable shoes and light luggage if possible.
The nature reserve is a quiet place and this should be respected. We ask our guests kindly to not disturb the nature or other people who enjoy the surrounding nature.

Hi! We’re Jeremy (Belgium) and Erle (Norway). We met in Thailand and later bumped into each other again in Australia. Today we run WonderInn, our tiny house and glamping brand, with three locations in Norway: WonderInn Delta and WonderInn Riverside near Oslo, and WonderInn Arctic up north (close to Lofoten & Tromsø).
