I am a retired teacher and have spent he last 16 years running my family’s 40 yr. old candy store. My grandfather founded Piedmont Candy Co. that makes those soft peppermint puffs you may have had. My sisters and I sold the store in 2018, so now I read, garden and sell antiques at the Riverhouse Emporium on Main St. I am heavily involved in the Uptown and in the Tourism Authority here. My husband and I downsized to this great property in 2017. We hope our guests enjoy the beautiful backyard as much as we do.
