I didn't meet Monica myself as I was renting this apartment on behalf of my elderly parents. But the said she was lovely and very helpful - telling them about local restaurants and things to do. I did go to the apartment though and I was quite envious as it was much nicer than where we were staying! So full of character and charm and the best power shower. Clean and tastefully decorated. Location great for Huertas and the Retiro. Everything was so close. Will try and rent the apartment myself one day!
We had a fantastic time. The location is superb. The flat is very comfortable. The street is quiet, even though it is in a bustling neighborhood. You can get to the train station, Plaza Mayor, the metro, good bars and restaurants or anywhere else very easily. Monica herself is helpful and charming. I strongly recommend this place.
This place was AMAZING!! we walked in and were so excited! It was incredibly clean, bright and airy. The balcony was an extra lovely touch. And we couldn't believe the location...right in the middle of everything. There were museums, parks, great tapas places and bars all within a 10 min walk or less. We actually had to force ourselves to leave the neighborhood and explore the rest of Madrid, because it was so perfect right where we were! Mónica was a fantastic host and very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here !
