Just respect the normal rules
We came to Milan to see a performance at La Scala. When the initial planning we had four, then later we were joined by another friend.
Correspondence with Alvise was extremely pleasant and constructive. Alvise has provided us with an extra bed, shuttle service from the airport (that we later came to Milan). He met us at the apartment.
The apartment was nice, comfortable and convenient. We liked the area, the Teatro alla Scala was near, excellent location, supermarket.
We spent 4 nights and recommend this apartment. Our assessment of five stars.
Our trip to Milan thanks Alvise was excellent!
This was the perfect apartment to stay in for us - thanks so much! the location is terrific, right off of via torino and super close to shopping and the duomo. the apartment was just as described Alvise even provided a baby cot for us as well as some other extras. i would definitely recommend staying here! Alvise was also great with communication.
Alvise was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location of the apartment was very good and we had a great stay at his place. Highly recommended.
Alvise made our welcome very easy. He came down to welcome us, showed us the car park, helped us to bring our luggage up and showEd us around the flat. Despite the cold weather it was warm and coso in the flat. It is spacious and ideally situated close to the Duomo cathedral and at a walking distance from Navigli. The place to be...
Alvise is the best host we've had on airbnb so far. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. He responds at a very prompt rate too. This apartment meanwhile is great. Location is superb. Just 20 steps from via torino, a shopping haven. I especially like that it is very near to several shoe stores. Walking to Duomo takes 5 minutes. There's also a tram if u dont fancy walking. The apartment has 2 very nice bathrooms. Living room is big. We wished the TV would have been bigger but hey we are not complaining :) Grazie Alvise for everything. We shall return for use one day.
The host made us more than welcome. The baby cot/crib, the high chair (which we did NOT expect), the Nespresso, the many conveniences (the maps, the pen and pad of paper) - we've rented apartments through AirBnB in Budapest, Barcelona, and Vienna, and all of the hosts were good, but none were as welcoming as Alvise.
The apartment met our expectations - and indeed was NICER and LARGER/more spacious than we expected (based on the pictures we saw).
While we didn't use the washing machine, that, too, was awesome!
The neighborhood/location was great, with a very minimal walk to the Duomo, and a decent walk to Parco Sempione. Proximity to the supermarket was also appreciated - AS WAS the gelateria right outside our door!
***The ONLY down side was the bed in the Master bedroom. We're Americans, so our standards are different, but that bed was just TOO hard - it was very uncomfortable for our tastes and after some good days traveling/sightseeing, we did NOT look forward to laying down on that very hard bed with very hard pillows. This and this alone is the only reason we rate this apartment 4 stars instead of 5.
