Love hanging out on boats, but not if they're moving? Enter the amazing Shaun and his fantastic fleet of tethered nautical lodgings! Our family of four (comprised of boys ages 6 and 8, and easily motion sick parents) had a great time staying on Ceilioh and exploring the marina in his kayaks, spotting wildlife (especially the resident bat ray) and lounging on the back deck watching the sun go down. The beds are cozy and the boat well appointed (plus a wonderland for young "pirates"). Shaun was an excellent host - responsive, gregarious and generous - and we looking forward to coming back!
Shaun was great. Very helpful , friendly and available to answer questions. The boat and marina are wonderful (also fun to take the kayaks out) and it's comfortable having the restaurant/ bar on sight. Having a car in this part of the city is preferable. A good experience. highly recommended.
Shaun met us right away near the dock and was incredibly pleasant and thorough in getting us situated on the boat and making sure we had everything we needed. The boat itself was beautiful and clean, and had linens and towel set up for us and a nice kitchen complete with an oven, sink, fridge/freezer, and stove. The boat was incredibly comfortable to sleep in and Shaun was more than accommodating and flexible with the time that we met him at the boat. I would highly recommend this listing and would definitely come back again!!
We really appreciate Shaun's help on everything. The yacht is nice and spacious. It is much bigger and convenient than we thought. We were just stolen when we visited the Pier 39 in the downtown area in the afternoon and Just found out when we arrived in Shaun's place. He provided useful suggestions and spent more than half an hour with us when he was hosting his birthday party.
Our family of four stayed on Shaun's boat for two nights while visiting San Francisco. Our kids (8 and 11) said staying on the boat was the highlight of their week in California. We all truly enjoyed our stay. Shaun was a great host. He lives nearby and was available for questions, but gave us complete privacy. He allowed us the use of his two kayaks and the kids loved paddling around the marina. We ate twice at the restaurant that adjoins the marina and loved it. The boat slept all four of us comfortably with space to spare. We took a ferry into San Francisco from Alameda. It was a relatively quick ride, and also a nice way to see the Bay Area.
