The Space

Sunny attic in via degli Ibernesi, Monti area, just in front of "Fori Imperiali".
5 minutes walk from the tube station Colosseo and Cavour.
Price 150 Euro/night all included (charge of 25 Euro per 3rd guest).
Preferably couples with one child only.

For Christmas and New Year period there will be applied an extra charge.

Two sunny terraces with wonderful views over ancient Rome.
Perfect for a couple or family with a child. Double bed plus sofa bed (3 people in total), fire place, sat. tv, stereo, autonomous heating with timer, air conditioning, fully furnished and fully equipped, linen, cutlery and crockery, washing-dryer machine, microwaves, hair-dryer, iron and board, etc (all new).
Quiet and silent area, although anything you may need can be found down stairs, markets, coffees, restaurants and lots of trendy places. Second floor no elevator (sorry ancient Rome'700 building).
Electric bus 117 to Piazza del Popolo and San Giovanni Laterano (ticket price 1,5 Euro valid for one metro and one bus ride within 100 minutes time). Very well connected with public transportation.
Termini station train to airport 15 min. or two tube station.

Everything you may want to visit is 5 min. walking distance
Can be also rented per week, month or short periods (lower prices than daily rate, to be agreed depending on number of guests and length of stay).
No pets and please smoke only in the terraces... they are very nice and panoramic anyway, thanks for understanding.
There will be requested a deposit of 150 Euro at the arrival that will be refunded at the departure.
In case you come by car it works like this: the street is limited traffic zone ZTL (open from 18 pm to 08 am, you can't get in but you can get out if you're in), the area around is blu zone: you park on the street and pay 1euro/hour in the machine where you get a ticket to place in your window, if you pay 4 euro you can stay the hole day. Streets recommended are Via degli Annibaldi, Via Cavor and streets around. It depends on the arrival time, I usually park in via degli Ibernesi (in front of the door) because I know all these tips.
If you need any other info, please feel free for enquiries. If your arrival time is at 18 you can get thru, leave the car there until your departure and enjoy Rome, everything is downstairs!, hope you have also a navigator because ancien Rome streets direction is crazy!

  • We were at the Delizioso attico for a week and we were delighted! Apartment is perfectly located, near Piazza Venecia, Fountain the Trevi and Colosseum. It is in very calm street, perfect for sleeping and yet near of all point of interest. Two beautiful terraces are key features, but bathroom and kitchen as well. In the flat you can find all that you need, so we highly recommend it! Victoria is perfect host, helpful and friendly. She is there for all that you can need. Thank you Victoria. When you in Rome you should stay here!

  • My wife and I had an amazing experience staying in Victoria's incredible, special apartment! After many years of staying in Rome hotels, this was by far our most favorite and magnificent experience. The view alone from the two terraces into the Forum and across the rooftops was a Rome lovers' dream. We spent so much of our time dining, drinking wine, writing, languishing on these inspiring, serene decks. And the neighborhood! With Victoria's kind assistance, we got to know and fall in love with Monti, an area most American tour books have yet to discover. We've been to Rome a dozen times and weren't aware of this hip, off-the-beaten-track district. The food was great, the people friendly, the vibe... alive. We returned several times to 2 Periodico, a cool, eclectic coffee house, to hang and chat with friends. As for our host, Victoria was perfect. Smart, friendly, eager to help. When I made the stupid mistake of busting our key in the door lock, Victoria and her husband quickly and kindly took care of the situation without issue. We were very grateful. She was responsive and giving in every way possible for a host. Upon our departure, she graciously arranged to call a cab on our behalf to meet us at the apartment. Her dinner recommendations were excellent, and we felt comfortable from the first moment until the last staying in her unique abode. As for the apartment, it was more than spacious enough for my wife and myself. Truly a fun, sexy place to stay for any couple. There is room enough for children or another couple, if absolute privacy isn't a concern. The bathroom is larger than most, and a washer-dryer unit comes in handy. The typically small European kitchen more than sufficed when my wife, a chef, and I decided to stay in and make our own pasta and parmigiana for dinner one night. With both terrace doors open, the temperature of the apartment was perfect in late May. If the space was hot when we arrived home from a day out, it would cool immediately as soon as the glass doors were thrown wide. The main bed was comfortable and cleverly slides into a large upper level where the dining room exists, turning into a couch for more daytime space. The music system was a nice touch that made our night of cooking even more romantic. Frankly, the apartment and the view from the terrace on a warm, cloudy Roman night were romantic enough. We would return in a heartbeat to this wonderful, one-of-a-kind place and can say that working with the thoughtful, kind host Victoria was beyond easy and trouble-free. She is as terrific as her apartment. My only hesitation in writing this review is that my positive comments will make it impossible for me to stay there again because it's become too popular!

    Response from Victoria:

Dear Brett, I thank you very much for your review, this is too much!
I just care of my guests as if you were my friends or as, I think, a polite and educated person should do, it doesn't cost much effort!
I'm really happy you enjoyed the attic and Monti,

  • Vacanze romane, what a wonderful place to visit! The flat and Victoria and Renatos hospitality where the dot on the i, the perfect place to stay and the perfect "landlords". I felt at home the minute I arrived. Victoria has got a great taste when it comes to decorating and you can admire here beautiful pictures in every room. We even did some handyman work with Renato who made a great effort to show us the special places in this intense city.
Grazie tanto for a wonderful stay, fortunately I threw enough coins in Fontana di Trevi to make sure I'll come back to Roma!

  • This place has character in a great way. A stones throw away from ancient Roman ruins, view of forum can be enjoyed from you private balconies. Lots of great restaurants up the road. Close walk to subway. We found kitchen ready to cook in with basic amenities like oil and seasonings. Very comfortable stay and Victoria was a fabulous host.

  • If you are looking for a comfortable, chic apartment in a fabulous area you have found it in Victoria's place!!! The apartment was beautiful and complete with everything we could possibly want/need for our stay. It has not one, but TWO gorgeous terraces which offer perfect views of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum in the distance. We enjoyed a glass of wine overlooking a breathtaking view. Victoria was a perfect host: responsive, helpful and generous. We will without question stay with Victoria should we return to beautiful Rome! Thank you, Victoria!!

  • Stay here! The terraces are to die for and the location while not totally central is sumptuous. She has a record player and grappa waiting and all the amenities are so comfortable. Victoria is so full of energy and generosity and had basic foods and wine waiting for us for our convenience!!

Would not say that it is perfect for an individual with more limited mobility as there are many stairs before arriving at the apartment and little stairs mixed in in the apartment. The attic space angle also makes getting in and out of bed not as easy for the person on the inner side.

Again about location, look into it's neighborhood, Monti, before arriving. You will find that it is full of local tradition and there are lots of food choices on the streets between ibernesi and cavour and leading up to the very accessible metro station. The walk to the Vatican and such does take more time but it pleasant and doable - though the metro for 1.50 euro a ride is easy and worth it for more tired days.

    Thank you, Victoria!

  • Victorias flat is very charming. There are 2 terraces with a nice view. She is a great host. The location, not to forget, is just 10 Minutes from the Colloseum. You find restaurants and bars in the area. Just use Victorias recommendations, or get screwed.

  • Victoria's beautiful apartment in the Monti was exactly what we were looking for. Watching the orange sunset over the ancient ruins while enjoying a lovely vino and apertivo on one of the (two!) verandas was the perfect end to each lovely day in our favorite city.
The Delizioso attico's location alone is enough but the apartment itself is so comfortable and inviting that I would recommend it to anyone.
Victoria was so helpful from the minute we met her (recommending an excellent local tavern when we arrived exhausted) until the day we left (when she set up our car to the airport). We could not have asked for a better host.
    Five stars!!

I'm very happy you had a great time,
all the best for you and your wife

  • Lovely apartment in a wonderful part of the city. The apartment, which is within walking distance of all major attractions, was a highlight of our visit to Rome this past September. The apartment is tastefully appointed (lots of original artwork) and very comfortable. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the terrace (there are two - ruins are visible in the distance) before heading out again for dinner in the evening. Victoria was an absolute pleasure and very helpful! Note, this was our first Airbnb experience.

  • LOOK NO FURTHER, YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR NEXT FLAT IN ROME! Do not hesitate to book this flat! The building was built in the 15th century. Upon entering the flat, you rise to 2 1/2 flights of stairs. The stairs are very well cared for & easy to maneuver. Upon entering the flat, you will come to the warmest place ever! The bathroom was found to be very clean with supplies of toiletries (and a great "rain shower" shower head that you will just love!) There is also a washing machine/dryer included that is in working order. Just remember to have Victoria set it up for you. I utilized the washer and hung my clothes to dry on the drying rack that is provided. The living room opens up to one of the balconies (great views) & it also contains a love seat that converts to a bed. You step up then to the dining area/bedroom that has been so cleverly done. The couch opens out from the wall to an awesome, high quality memory foam mattress (so comfortable .) The dining area contains the 2nd balcony. Both balconies share awesome a views of Roma from which you will sit, eat, & drink vino from! One balcony contains an awesome couch to relax, the other contains a table with four chairs from which to dine. The kitchen was clean & found to be stocked by Victoria with goodies, pastries, juice, & milk to get you started. The kitchen also includes pots, pans, & utensils should you decide to cook in. The flat is rustic & is decorated with Victoria's beautiful art. Victoria will meet you @ the flat and thoroughly orient you to the great Monti neighborhood & the workings of the flat. Key handover was quick & easy! Remember also to have Victoria review how to watch cable TV If you should so desire. Communication with Victoria was outstanding from the first word to the last. I really lived in Victoria's flat & made it my own. It was such a fine respite from a long day of touring! You, too, will do the same!
