Featured in Texas Monthly Magazine. Two houses on 6 acres nestled in the heart of the Texas hill country. Austin and several charming hill country towns, golf courses, natural springs, shopping and wineries are within 45 minutes. The Retreat sleeps up to 23 and is spacious with a large entertaining area and 5 private bedrooms and 2 bedrooms that can be private or shared.

We love intimate weddings! We are also a great home base for family and friends if wedding is at a larger nearby venue.

The space
The property features a large, resort style swimming pool, a fire pit and an over-sized hot tub large enough seat 10 people. Fun and games include washers, ping-pong, board games and a tire swing. At dusk and dawn it's nice to sit on the porch and watch the deer.

Houses are approx 100 yards apart and both have amazing views and direct access to the Blanco River. The property gently rolls down into the river with river rock beach access to the river - water level dependent on rainfall. The two kitchens are new with all major appliances and fully stocked with dishes, silverware, bar-ware and serve-ware. Each house has two smart TVs and the lodge has Direct TV.

Guest access
Reservation includes both houses and 6 acres gently rolling down to the Blanco River. Our river access is over 2 football fields long. Blanco River valley is mostly privately owned and guests have wonderful access to the river within our property line. River level is dependent on rainfall and may be dry during drought conditions.

Other things to note
It's a beautiful river valley. If you are concerned about river water level, please ask us.

No fireworks or loud music
EVENTS must be pre-approved by manager. Event limit is 30, including guests staying at the property; however, 23 is the limit for guests sleeping at the property. Event agreement is required.
NO PETS or ESA. (trained service dogs are not pets)
RENTAL AGREEMENT REQUIRED - We can provide a copy to you prior to making your reservation, upon request.
All guests must sign a liability waiver.
13% state and local lodging apply and should be in your total.
