The place was amazing!! Very comfortable and the location was great!! Plenty of room for 6 adults. Everything you needed was at the house. She made everything so easy with places to eat and shop. I would re come d this place and would stay here again!!
We needed a quiet, comfortable weekend away from Manhattan prior to picking up a new puppy on Long Island, and Antoinette's place provided just that.
Antoinette was a great host, waiting for us to arrive (later than anticipated) and showing us all the ins and outs of her tidy, relaxed home. The tips she offered on where to get provisions, what to do, etc., in the area were really useful (too bad we couldn't make it to the seafood vendor). It was especially lovely being able to cook in the well-provisioned kitchen. The beach and the William Floyd Estate grounds are so close, and made for great afternoon walks. We hope to visit again next year, when our pup is grown!
Antoinette's home was lovely! She put the heat on for us so the house was comfortable when we arrived. The kitchen is clean and spacious, the upstairs bathroom had a large tub and great shower, the water was hot and had good pressure, the bed was comfortable. It was cold and rainy the weekend we were there, so we didn't get to take advantage of the porch or fire pit, but we're already hoping to come back in the summer and book her place again.
Antoinette was Awesome. We can't thank Antoinette enough for such a easy and delightful experience. The house is very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. She is an excellent host.
We had a wonderful stay at Antoinette's. The space is lovely and Antoinette is super accommodating and available for any questions that might arise--though thorough info is provided about the rental so questions are unlikely to come up.
We have to echo the other reviews - a great place to stay and hang out and relax. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved eating on the screened porch, sitting round the firepit and with a fantastic beach just minutes away we were in heaven. Antoinette was a welcoming virtual host, in regular touch by text/email and we felt well looked after.

About the Host, Antoinette
I live in Brooklyn, work in Manhattan and enjoy the tranquility of being by the ocean in Mastic Beach. I like that it is off the beaten path yet close to the city, Hamptons, and most of all Fire Island. I enjoy being outdoors and keeping active- gardening, kayaking, yoga etc. I try to make my home a warm welcoming environment and want guests to also feel at home during their stay.
