Excellent location: Ashford avenue. Hotels everyday has tour service to different attractions for a small fee.
This apartment is 5 minutes to Marriott, La Concha, Conrad. Looking for nighlife, this is the area. 10-15 minutes to the airport and also to Old San Juan, bus stop is just go out of lobby. The apartment has one full size bed, one full futon, ideal for up to 3 persons. Kitchnnette with big refrigerator. Parking available for small fee.
Condado looks quite different from what it did at the turn of the century. Some of the luxurious homes which still remain nestled between the high-rise condominiums have been converted into small inns, shops, museums or restaurants. Dr. Bailey Ashford's home has been remodeled and there are plans to turn it into a museum.
Take in consideration that we are flexible with check in and check out time but also you have to know that coming midnight you have to book previous night please, late check out can charge a small fee to keep in storage.
I had a great time at Angie's place the location is ideal for restaurants, bars and the beach. The place is located directly in front of the bus stop so getting to Old San Juan is a breeze. The place itself is very comfortable and very well kept it is a studio, but it easily accommodates 3! Loved our stay, and Angie responded IMMEDIATELY to any questions or concerns. The stay was great, would love to stay here again. Great place, great location and an amazing host.
Overall this place is what we needed. Somewhere to lay down at night, not too big, and we were able to do some of our own cooking to save some money. One downside is that the street is noisy and there is currently a construction project, Angie cannot help that, but if you are a light sleeper if might make you unhappy. Angie was very friendly and made it easy to check in and out. Close to a whole lot of things, especially the beach and a bus stop.
This studio apartment was absolutely perfect in every way, regardless of its size. The location was EVERYTHING...and it had just what we needed while actually IN the apartment. Located perfectly on "the strip" of Condado, it was literally a 3-minute walk to Condado Beach, 5-10 minutes from anything and everything you could want, a $.75 bus trip to Old San Juan, and taxis flying by every other minute to take you anywhere else. Want to rent a car? Go see Allied right across the street for the best deal...but only rent if it's from a guy named Peter, otherwise boycott the company.
Angie was amazing. She even got some wine/chocolates/fruit/cheese for me waiting as this was to be a special trip for my girlfriend and I. At the time we arrived she couldn't meet us (we all met later) but had someone waiting with the keys when we exited the taxi from the airport. She also got us a coffee pot simply upon request and we had not other issues during our 6-day stay. If you want to be close to everything in Condado, could care less about how much square footage your living quarters has, don't want to drop $150+ per night and want to be treated right, staying in one of Angie's managed properties is the way to go.
I/we will definitely be looking her back up on our next trip down to PR, without a doubt. Thank you, Angie, for helping make our trip as special as it was!
Angie was great! She was easy to communicate with, always prompt with her responses and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend Angie.
We had a fabulous time! The location was great- easy access to the beach, restaurants and night life and an easy cab ride to old San Juan (which we loved)! We were there for a wedding at La Concha where a lot of friends were staying, we were close to them and able to stay for much longer because our accommodations were so much cheaper!
Angie is very nice. The place was OK. The shower was scary.
Thank you Murtuza. Shower and bathroom is small but "scary"
has many meaning, I think next time should be explain the term,
unit is also small, location is excellent and the price of $60 per night.
I still don't understand scary to improve it but thank you for your business.
The best part of staying here has been the amazing views of the lagoon and the ocean which can be seen from the back entry way and the front patio respectively. The place was as advertised. Yes, it is small, but we never felt cramped. There are great restaurants right outside the building. My wife and I loved how central the apartment was to everything. If you're debating about whether or not to rent this place while you enjoy your stay, just go for it. You won't be disappointed.
We gratefully appreciate Angie!! We were unable to catch a flight to st croix and ended up staying in one of the apts in san juan. it was convenient by cab and although the cab driver did not know where the exact location was when we gave him her number she quickly directed us and was waiting for us downstairs. it is cozy and inexpensive, which is what we were looking for (much better views and feelings at night actually); my teenagers "loved it!" Food right across the street was a delight and we enjoyed walking the beach in back of a restaurant nearby. Pros: Quick communication-less than 15min, microwave and stove, beds were as comfy as a 3.5-4 star although it did not look like it i admit; Cons: weird hot water/shower structure but hey your in PR, a few strands of hair in teens shower. All in all i would definitely visit and stay in one of her residences again.
I stayed in the "Cute and cozy studio" for three nights with my boyfriend. Angie was very helpful and organized parking for our rental car (additional $7/night in the apartment complex parking lot). She was very accessible via phone or text and quickly responded to our questions.
The apartment was small but was clean and certainly adequate to our needs. It was in a convenient area in Condado and quite a deal compared to all of the other hotels in the area. Just a note for future renters--The full bed has a fairly thin mattress which left our backs rather stiff in the morning. The futon/trundle have real sprung mattresses which were much more comfy and worked for us!
Great location, average apartment, no issues. It is a tiny place, with a nice patio and large windows. The entire place could use an update, but for needing a place to crash it worked out well. Angie was helpful and made key pickup/drop off easy.
