  • Great location for key sites, very clean apartment. Really recommend. Only issue was pillows and pillow cases were not left out for the sofa bed (or spares for main bed), when called on day of arrival person spoke to was insistent they were in flat and accessible to us. Next day cleaner came and gave us them from locked cupboard! So one night without proper pillow for spare bed, and only one each for double bed-but as say this was sorted next day.

Easy to get hold of and quick response to email. Just fyi Confirmation email stated each person needs a green band to be around pool and if need extra bands to enter pool, ask at reception (only given two in welcome pack booked for 3 to us flat), reception do not give these out and when spoke to host agent said not needed per person.

    Overall would recommend

  • Bryan was very responsive and flexible with us when we needed to change the dates of our stay. The condo was clean and nice, the only disappointment was that the roof top hot tub was out of order the entire week. The pullout sofa was comfortable, the bed in the bedroom was a little hard, the futon mattress was great so my teens each had a space of their own to sleep. The location was very convenient to Chinatown and the National Mall.

  • Really nice appartement, we were 3 and stayed 2 nights in Bryan appartement. We didn't had the chance to meet him but he responds really quickly to answer and the concierge desk takes care of everything, really convenient because we arrived in the night. We really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub and the nice view, everything was clean and nice.

  • The location of the apartment is ideal for me - I was working close by and it was easy to walk back and forth to work even in the really cold weather.

The flat is as it looks in the pictures, but as others have said, shows some wear and tear - notably the white sofa is now dirty. It has a very neutral decor, beige carpet and magnolia walls. The level of cleanliness overall was good but not sparkling - a bit of dust in corners and things, nothing to complain about.

Recommend you take your swimsuit for the rooftop jacuzzi and pool even in the winter. I didn't but they were open and in use. Great view from up there.

The check in and check out procedures don't involve Bryan, but he came to the apartment to show me how to use the dryer, which I appreciated. He does run the flat as part of a property management company.

  • The bldg and the location were great considering the ice, snow and bone-chilling weather. The TV in the bedroom wasn't working. The furnishing are not as nice as other similar apts I have tried in the area via Airbnb, but overall, it's a nice place and I will probably stay here again in the future.

  • We had a great time at Bryan's apartment! It had everything we needed during our stay. The bed and the sofa beds were more than enough for our family of four. It's conveniently located across a CVS. The building also has a wonderful view from the rootftop. Aside from that the building was also secure.

Bryan and zora were really accommodating and were also always ready to help.

We really had our money's worth.

  • Great location and friendly staff in the building. We enjoyed being close to the Capitol building and the mall and the apartment was a good size for four of us (though we were out and about for most of our stay). The view of the Capitol from the roof is great. Would stay here again.

  • I want to start by saying this apartment worked for us. We (myself, wife and baby) were in town for both a conference and to tour DC and the apartment location was fabulous. The location was safe and we loved the Chinatown neighborhood. That said, this apartment did not exceed our expectations. The building was very nice and clean and the roof-top pool was wonderful on a hot day. Our main complaint is that the apartment itself appears a bit more worn down when viewed in person (compared to pictures on airbnb). The carpet is starting to become dingy and the couches/blankets could use a good cleaning (due to food staining). The kitchen was nice and actually had all of the equipment/dishes we needed. As first-time users of airbnb, we thought airbnb was supposed to be a personal experience; unfortunately, we had limited contact with Bryan prior to our visit. He later explained to us that he happened to be out of town. This apartment is run by a management company, and this in addition to Bryan being out of town made it a very impersonal visit for us. There were some benefits from a professional company and this was represented by the folder picked-up at the front desk with all the passcodes, TV channels, and instructions for our departure. Maybe it was due to Bryan being out of town during our visit and therefore less communication, but the day before we left, the cleaning service actually unlocked and opened the door exactly at noon; she did leave once we told them we had the apartment for one more day. The check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced as the management company - Luxury International has the turnover down to a science. The ability to leave bags with the front desk was a plus and we utilized this both when arriving early, and leaving later than our check-in/check-out times. Overall, staying here allowed us to see DC for cheaper than a hotel, but we would love to see some improvement in cleanliness and communication. After notifying Bryan of these issues, he has said he will make adjustments based on our review.
