Great check-in experience
100% of recent guests gave the check-in process a 5-star rating.
Rustic camping cabins, without heating, cooling or insulation. Linens and electric blanket provided. Toilets, showers & kitchen are centrally located & shared. Camp Kush is located in the Great Sage Plain at the edge of the Colorado Plateau in the shadow of Mesa Verde National Park with panoramic mountain/mesa views of the 4 Corners region, all only 5 miles southeast of Cortez. We have private cabins, shared dorms with bunk beds, tent sites, a community kitchen, pit toilets & hot showers.

The space
Camp Kush is a reclaimed children’s church camp (Camp Christa). Each summer churches from all over the southwest would bring kids for week-long camps. It used to house up to 100 kids at a time! We bought it in April 2018 and reopened it as cannabis friendly camping B & B for grown-ups to enjoy.
We are a cannabis friendly destination & are inclusive! Cool folks of any ethnic background, national origin or religion as well as hippies, hunters, freaks and queers are all welcome here!

Cortez, Colorado, United States

We're happy to give you the local's only hook-up to find hikes, ruins, swimming holes, lakes/rivers, hot springs, tacos, coffee, cannabis, a spot to rent kayaks, bikes- you name it! Just ask.
There are so many things to do/see nearby: Mesa Verde National Park, Canyons of the Ancients, Hovenweep National Monument and Phil's World. Or raft down the Dolores river, maybe rent an SUP or kayak and chill on a quiet reservoir. There are several museums and cultural centers in the area as well that truly help set the context for your visit to the area.
