The riad is located only a few minutes walking from the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and from the Souk area. Each of our double rooms can host one or more extra beds and each rooms is ensuite (toilette and shower) all of our rooms are located on the patio floor or on the 1st floor. The patio area is the perfect place where to relax after a full day in the souk or in the surrounding's of Marrakech.
This nice brand new double room ensuite is very spacious and comfortable overlooking the garden patio and the plunge pool.
We are the place to be in Marrakech because of our cheap price, central location and living here since 12 years we can give you the best tips and suggest what to do in order to enjoy your holiday.
The access to the house is not permitted to local people you might have known during your trip or in town.
If you have foreigners friends staying in town then they are allowed to access the house in the public ares only (not in the rooms).
The room was very big, much bigger than I expected, which was not so great in winter.
The place was ok overall, though I had basically no interaction with the owner other than a short phone call when I arrived.
The next night I stayed at a riad which was much better value, with an actual ensuite bathroom, towels, heating etc.
This place has a great price/quality ratio. We were there in January, and it was a bit drafty, but definitely charming. The location is very central, which is great if you don't mind the busyness of the souks. It's not the easiest to find at first. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Also, there is a cute dog (with a lot of matted hair), so make sure you pet her a lot. And give her treats, but not too many, because she's small.
Nice central location in the middle of the medina, just a few minutes walk from the main square. we got a little bit lost trying to find it but there were plenty of people to help, as the hosts told us before we arrived.
we had a couple of mix ups as we'd been told we'd get a specific room (apparently the booking doesn't give you a specific room, just a room like in a hotel) but the room had been damaged by rain just before we arrived so we had to have a different one. the rules regarding towels also changed just before we arrived so it was a bit annoying to be told we had to pay extra, but the host was kind enough to let us off due to the rules having just changed.
being december the room was obviously a bit cold at night, but extra blankets and an electric heater was provided. the electricity went off a couple of times, once for most of the night, the other times it was fixed very quickly.
the whole place had a good clean feeling, breakfast was lovely and I'd highly recommend it. not many electricity plugs but the ones they do have work fine, wifi also works great.
Overall it was a nice place to spend a short break in Marrakesh if you don't need any luxuries where you're staying.
