Wireless internet connection is provided.

Easy access by Via Carolina (Autobahn 6 - D5). Situated half way between Nuremberg and Prague (about 70 minutes drive from each). A bit nearer to Regensburg. About 20 minutes drive to Plzen, 'the world capital of beer'. Free private parking. Motorcyclists are welcome. There is a bus from the village (about 10 mins. walk) and fast trains to Prague from Stribro (about 15mins bus or drive to the station).
Good base for easy sightseeing in Prague, Marianske Lazne, Karlovy Vary, Plzen, Domazlice, Cesky Krumlov, Regensburg. A bit further but still within a daytrip reach are: Linz, Salzburg, Munich. All advice given.
The nearest towns for visiting and shopping are Kladruby, Stribro, and Horsovsky Tyn. They are charming small towns with plenty of history and places to visit, plus cafes and restaurants. All three are within 10-15 minutes drive.
We had a very pleasant stay with Libor and his wife.
On a future visit, we hope to take the time to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, there are many promising hiking possibilities awaiting to be explored.
The serene countryside setting was nevertheless a convenient stopping point for us on our roadtrip from Germany to Prague, Brno and Ostrava.
Our room was large and well-heated with our own private modern bathroom and toilet. The two skylights afforded us a nice view of the castle ruins on the adjacent hill.
Breakfast was copious, fresh and truly wonderful.
Our hosts were very respectful of our privacy but at the same time very pleasant to chat with.
Highly recommended. We hope to be back!
