This beautiful four bedroom duplex is centrally located in South Broadripple (SoBro). Enjoy a short walk to local eateries and shops, a run or bike ride on the Monon trail, or a 10min car ride to the heart of downtown. Butler's campus is only one mile away from the home. The Children's Museum, State Fairgrounds, and the Indianapolis Art Meseum, are all within a 5 mile radius of our home.

The space
This large duplex, originally constructed in 1910, is full of old charm with modern amenities and mid-century decor. This side is a massive 2000 sq ft of living space including original hardwood floors, a fully equipped kitchen, main level laundry access, a dining room with space for 8, and a living room with an upright piano for our fellow creatives.

Four large bedrooms are located upstairs and come equipped with queen beds. A full bath is located on the second floor and includes a tub/shower combo to accommodate bathing the little ones.

Finally, there is a large fenced in backyard area that is shared with the other side of the duplex that includes a fire pit, plus table and chairs, as well as a gas grill that can be utilized by guests.

Walk to some of the best eating in the city, live music, coffee houses, bars, bakeries, record stores, vintage and antique shops. 30 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to downtown.

PETS
Furry friends are welcome at The Effect provided guests do not allow pets on the furniture and pick up after them in the backyard. We have a strict 2 pet maximum at The Effect. The first pet is free of charge however, if you plan to have a 2nd pet, we do charge an additional 25$. And as a courtesy, be sure to escort your pets when they go outside to do their business or play fetch with the plentiful sticks in the backyard. If you are planning on bringing your pet, please let us know!

FIREPLACE
The fireplace is equipped with candles for our guests to use in place of a wood.

South Broadripple or as the locals call it, SoBro, is a vibrant arts district full of boutiques, bars, and eateries. Sobro is located 6 miles north of downtown Indianapolis and is very close to Butler and Broadripple. The area is a haven for creatives and our city's entrepreneurs. Sobro has numerous shops, bars, and boutiques as well as the popular Monon Trail for those seeking a leisurely stroll or bike ride. There is always entertainment around the area between The Vogue, Indy CD and Vinyl, and Butler's Arts Center.
