About This Listing
My 100 m2 (1,076 sft) apartment is located in the historic Barcelona district of Sarria. Sarria is not a tourist district, so you'll get to experience the real people of Barcelona. The flat is very quiet - which is a rarity in this city. It is well located and easy to reach in car and public transport.
10 min in Taxi to Fira Barcelona / Mobile World Congress.
The apartment is spacey and fits 5 people. It also has a nice backyard for breakfast, dinners and, of course, siesta. The second bedroom is normally used as our study and has twin-sized, double sized a futon (140 cm). A fifth person could sleep on our large sofa.
Sarria has great, no-tourist-trap-shopping and restaurants. There are also lots of traditional groceries and the historic, top-quality market, Mercat de Sarria.
Summer note: Sarria has the coolest climate and best air of Barcelona. That's because it is up the hill.
Metro (subway) is a 3 minute walk. It takes you in 10 to 15 minutes to most every interesting sight: Cathedral, Gothic Quarter, Eixample, Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, Plaza Catalunya, and more.
Walking distance from Collserola Natural Park & Tibidabo. Walking distance to Universities (ESADE, IESE, UPC).
If you like soccer - Barça's Camp Nou stadium is a 20 minute walk.
2 bed rooms
1 living room
2 full baths
1 Kitchen (eat in)
WIFI - Internet
iMac with TV
Fresh linen and towels
We do live in this apartment when it is not rented. Hence, please observe these rules: no smoking and no parties. Additional guests that have not been agreed upon in advance with us are not allowed. Please keep apartment tidy. The apartment is being cleaned after each stay.
Thanks for observing these rules and enjoy your time in our place and in Barcelona.
We stayed one week with my family during our october break.
It was a very disappointing experience as the flat did not really correspond to our quality standard especially on bedding and cleaning requirement.
Perfectly situated but sadly very basic comfort for family of 5 pers.
No bed base for 2 bedrooms (only mattress placed on pallett for main bedroom, so it gives you the calamitous sensation to sleep on a fakir bed), no blinds/ curtain on second bedroom with mattress directly on floor (study) and also no quilt...
Kitchen is quite dirty (never open the oven!) and we had no mop or vacuum to keep it clean as a minimum during our stay.Only sofa couch was fine and comfortable.
2nd bathroom is useless as we could not use the shower!!!
So definitively I will not recommend for family stay only for young couple.
It was pleasant to stay in Gregor’s apartment at the end of August’13.
The apartment is in good condition. It was clean and good equipped. Beautiful living room has a dining table, seats and sofa.
For me and my family it could be more comfortable if in the second bedroom was really bed but not only matrass on the floor. And also in the guest bathroom it’s necessary shower-curtain.
This apartment is well located near the station Reina Elisenda in the beautiful region Sarria. Also near the stop of Bus touristic.
In Sarria there was a lot of cafes and shops nearest!!
It is a good place for staying!
We stayed in the Gregor's apartment for 3 months with 2 small kids and really enjoyed it. It is very well equipped with a very nice terrace where we had our lunches.
The only thing is that there is no elevator so some people might find it complicated to go up and down but for us it was ok.
Overall, Sarria is the best district in BCN to live with kids (if you don't want to go to the beach every day). Nice parks, great streets and no tourists.
Thanks Gregor we would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends

The apartment is really nice, it was just what we expected. It was a very nice experience, the area is very pleasant and it is easy to get to the center.the hosts are very friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment itself is really big and cool, with a really lovely outside terrace. The area is also very pretty and quite quiet - a little way out of the touristy parts, but also really close to the metro to get into the centre of town easily.
Really great location! It is a 15 min train ride from the centre of the city but the area of Sarria has really great cafe's, restaurants etc. There is a lovely bakery around the corner, we had breakfast there everyday, probably the best coffee I have had in Barcelona!
Gegor was really helpfull and checked to Mae sure everything was ok.
The bed in the spare room was very hard, fine for a few days, maybe the couch is more comfortable.
Otherwise we loved our stay!
