Newly renovated downstairs apartment in 1906 Victorian Charmer. You have a private entrance, two pull out twin beds, a kitchenette (microwave, fridge, dishes, silverware, keurig), full private bath and laundry. Renovated nicely in greys, this space is simple, yet trendy! Walkable to business district on Bryant Street, Highland Park, the zoo. Ten minute commute to Lawrenceville or the city. This is a studio apartment, not the entire house for rent.

The space
You have a separate side entrance with two love seats that pull out into twin beds. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, keurig and dishes/kitchen accessories. There is a full brand new private bath (with shower) and laundry on site. There is no AC in this unit, although it is in the basement and doesn't seem to need it. I have not had any complaints about temperature, but I leave a fan there for use just in case. The TV is a smart TV with wifi with plenty of free movies, etc, and no local cable.

Guest access
Guests enter in separate entrance through side door. Guests may feel free to use deck and front porch to relax and enjoy a coffee or a drink.

Other things to note
I do have a dog who may bark when he hears someone downstairs. He's not a yipper, though, honest. He's a friendly guy, and actually a cuddle bug :) He will come and go onto the back deck and into the yard, as any dog does.

As this is a downstairs apartment, there is potential for noise with people (and a dog!) walking and talking upstairs. Sometimes groups of people rent the upstairs and so please know the more people, the more potential for noise, as with any 'shared' / connected space. I don't allow parties in the home, and I ask for quiet time after 10 pm, so if this is not being honored by upstairs guests, please message me so that I may make an effort to contact the guests upstairs.

We also run alongside a business district, so you might hear buses and cars and people passing.

Loveseats and coffee table do need to be slightly moved at night in order to pull out both loveseats.

Highland park is primarily a residential neighborhood (so relatively quiet). There is a small business district half a block away with a bakery, four restaurants, a coffee shop, a market, a hair and nail salon, botique and a gift shop. A few blocks away is Highland Park, with walking trails, volleyball court, a public pool, dog park and a lake for fishing or bird watching.
