Our wonderfully rustic 1899 cabin features 3 bedrooms, and decor that takes you back to the 1940's -- but new and functional. 1 block from Downtown Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River.
The cabin with rustic decor but retro modern plumbing and appliances invites you to step back in time, and enjoy the acreage that surrounds you. You will feel like you are on a secluded mountain estate.
You are 1 block from Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River, so you can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and everything else in about 2 minutes flat.
Interaction with Guests
We will have a friend let you in and check you out, but most of your interaction will be with the elk and deer which frequently graze through the yard. The hummingbirds in the pines are pretty good company, too!
On hot summer afternoons, we love to walk down to the Fall River (seriously, a minute to walk there) and cool our feet in the river & read a book. Or, maybe sip lemonade on the front porch, screened by the pine trees...the kids like to walk & shop downtown Estes Park with all their friends.
There are shuttles to take you around town, into Rocky Mountain National Park, etc. There is a large public parking lot 1/2 block from the cabin, and you can park a car on the street in front of the cabin.
Please, treat our mountain hideaway with the love and respect that we do!
The cabin was exactly as described. We found it very clean and comfortable. It has so much space and furnished well. It was very chilly in the mornings and the fireplace in the living room was wonderful. Shower is great and we had plenty of hot water. Had a great time in the area.
Our stay at the cabin was an all around fabulous experience! We had to arrive late at night, but even in the dark the place was easy to access. The cabin is bigger than we expected and has lots of space for folks to spread out. The kitchen is really well stocked with equipment and great to cook in. Jeff and the property manager are very friendly and easy to contact. The neighborhood is great, walking distance to downtown, but private too. Estes is a great town, and the park is gorgeous as well.
The cabin was great. Cozy yet spacious. Proximity to the high street was great. Sunsets were great and we are a lucky family to have found this in estes park. The kids can't wait to come back and play bingo and watch VHS movies. Thank you.
This house is amazing. It has a very vintage/rustic charm, but also updated--perfect for a get-away in the mountains. There are plenty of beds to accommodate a small group of friends or family. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown, and easy drive to RMNP. There is also a quaint little yard, perfect to let the dogs out if you have them, or for watching wildlife. We would definitely stay in this cabin again. Jeff was responsive to any questions leading up to the stay, and his assistant Allison was helpful as well!
Jeff always responded to messages immediately. He gave us a local contact who kept in touch with us as well. Parking was exactly what they described and perfect! This cabin was a highlight on this already amazing trip! To be in the mountains and then in this cabin was icing in the cake. The cabin pictures you can see, the feel is something you experience when you walk in. This cabin was perfect, cozy and roomy for our little family. I had our extended family over for breakfast and received many compliments on the place. The front porch is the perfect breakfast spot. I wish we had more time to spend in the front yard. The updated bathroom was a great addition. We would love to stay here again, everything was perfect! Thank you.
Estes Park is a great little town and RMNP is even better! The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our group. Everything was clean and in working order. The cabin is rustic and very comfortable and cute. The owners and management were also easy and professional to work with. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!
We had a great time at the cabin. The location couldn't have been better, just 2 blocks from everything but you still felt tucked away, easy drive in to RMNO, and the cabin itself was ridiculously cute an perfect! Well kept and decorated with amazing and thoughtful touches. Jeff was a great host and very easy to work and communicate with. We are already planning our next stay, can't wait to be back!
