Our wonderfully rustic 1899 cabin features 3 bedrooms, and decor that takes you back to the 1940's -- but new and functional. 1 block from Downtown Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River.

The space

The cabin with rustic decor but retro modern plumbing and appliances invites you to step back in time, and enjoy the land that surrounds you. You will feel like you are on a secluded mountain estate.

Guest access

You are 1 block from Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River, so you can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and everything else in about 2 minutes flat.

Interaction with guests

We will have a friend let you in and check you out, but most of your interaction will be with the elk and deer which frequently graze through the yard. The hummingbirds in the pines are pretty good company, too!

Other things to note

We prefer 5-day minimum stays, and no arrivals on the weekend or departures on Saturday.

This cabin has an ideal location - it's just a short walk to the main street with many restaurants and shops and just a short drive to the national park. The cabin is roomy and has comfortable beds. The bathroom is beautiful and has an excellent shower. Parking, although not right at the cabin, is convenient enough.

If you are looking for the feel of a secluded cabin with the convenience of walking to downtown Estes Park this is the place for you! A wonderful historic cabin with awesome decor. This is a very roomy cabin that easily accommodated my family ranging from two-seven people. I stayed from Friday through Tuesday and family members dropped in and out as their schedules allowed. Saturday evening we had seven for dinner and space was not an issue at all. The location allows for easy access to all parts of Estes Park and RMNP. Both the owners and hosts are very accessible at all times. A wonderful cabin in a great little town!

Great time in Estes Park CO over the Labor Day weekend with my family. We had a group of 8 and worked out perfectly. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy! The one bathroom did not even become a issue; because you are outside all the time and going places. Walk to downtown in so close----all the goodies! Shopping, Dining, Drinking! Great Cabin to relax or be adventurous - your choice everything is right there! If you have never been to Estes Park; then you need to go! This adorable cabin is a great choice for your stay......thanks again!

My wife and two kids came for a family vacation, spending most of our time in Rocky Mountain national Park. The cabin served as a great base of operations, was very pleasant and entirely as billed. It was quiet, comfortable, charming, the kitchen was equipped sufficiently for us to have most of our meals at home. It was fun to be so close to Estes, and yet not be bothered by the crowds. The local managers were very accommodating and responsive, check in with smooth, check out painless. Would definitely do this again.

We absolutely loved this house! it has comfortable furnishings, space to share family time as well as big bedrooms for privacy. The kitchen was immaculate and well stocked with every kitchen tool we needed. We cooked in for every meal. We were nervous about sharing the one bathroom with 7 to 9 of us, but it worked fine. We also really appreciated the location. We were in town to run the Rocky Mtn Half Marathon and we were just close enough to get to town quickly, but far enough away to enjoy peace and the mountains. We would love to stay again sometime!
