About this listing
Our wonderfully rustic 1899 cabin features 3 bedrooms, and decor that takes you back to the 1940's -- but new and functional. 1 block from Downtown Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River.
The cabin with rustic decor but retro modern plumbing and appliances invites you to step back in time, and enjoy the acreage that surrounds you. You will feel like you are on a secluded mountain estate.
You are 1 block from Elkhorn Ave and the Fall River, so you can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and everything else in about 2 minutes flat.
Interaction with Guests
We will have a friend let you in and check you out, but most of your interaction will be with the elk and deer which frequently graze through the yard. The hummingbirds in the pines are pretty good company, too!
On hot summer afternoons, we love to walk down to the Fall River (seriously, a minute to walk there) and cool our feet in the river & read a book. Or, maybe sip lemonade on the front porch, screened by the pine trees...the kids like to walk & shop downtown Estes Park with all their friends.
There are shuttles to take you around town, into Rocky Mountain National Park, etc. There is a large public parking lot 1/2 block from the cabin, and you can park a car on the street in front of the cabin.
Please, treat our mountain hideaway with the love and respect that we do!
We would absolutely recommend this home and these hosts! This was by far the best Airbnb experience we have had so far.
We had a wonderful time! The home is lovely. We were amazed by the amount of time and effort the hosts have put into decorating the home and coordinating everything. The home is just warm and homey with rustic charm. We loved everything. The home truly is perfectly situated, centrally located to everything.
There was plenty of room, the closed in porch was amazing, cool in the mornings and evenings with nice rocking chairs. The kitchen is cozy but with space and tables for a working area. The dining room has plenty of room for a group. The gas grill and tools worked great for some outdoor cooking.
The home was a wonderful home base for group. Everyone raved about it. We would absolutely use this home again in the future if we vacation in Colorado again. It made for a wonderful vacation for our family.
The hosts made sure everything was taken care of. Available and quick to respond.
For our group of seven with teenagers and young adults your cabin was perfect. We loved the quintessential cabin feel of your place. It was very convenient being near town to walk in and spend a afternoon. Also conveniently located to the Rocky Mountain national Park.
We would definitely recommend this cabin to our friends and family.
Our time in Renee and Jeff's cabin was wonderful. This was our first experience using AirBnB and the cabin was more than we had hoped for. It was centrally located minutes walking distance from the heart of the town. The accommodations were lovely, plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out.
The sleeping porch is wonderful for sitting in the evenings and looking at stars with a wonderful view of the mountains. Beautiful decor throughout the home.
Our children loved watching chipmunks running about in the back yard.
We will definitely rent again!
Cabin is great. Well located, pictures are accurate. Wonderful experience, would rent here again.
Incredible time at this Estes Park cabin! Renee, Jeff and Allison were so helpful and communicative, it made this weekend getaway and amazing experience. They left very clear instructions all throughout the house and even had a set of towels set up for our guests. The cabin itself is so unique, but comfortable to live in. The location is secluded enough, but easy walking distance to downtown which makes it even better. Thanks again to Renee and Jeff, highly recommended!
Perfect cabin for getting into Rocky Mountain National Park! It's tucked away far enough from downtown so it's private and quiet but close enough for a walk if you want to grab a drink or dinner. The space is great and the amenities are just what we needed. The hosts and caretaker were very responsive to questions as well!
The cabin was perfect! The owners did a great job restoring it and decorating it to make it very comfortable :). It was close to town in a nice area. There was a deer to greet us in the back yard when we arrived! Would love to stay here again someday!
