Enjoy our serene hide-away on the shore of pristine Sandy Pond.  Our custom 3 bedroom, 2 bath log home is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Great fishing and swimming! Weekly rental only during peak season. Pet friendly! Pet fee applies. No more than 2 pets.

The space
Enjoy our charming log home hide-away on the shore of pristine Sandy Pond. Tranquility awaits you on this secluded 107 acre pond in Central Maine.  Our home is complete with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of space to relax with family and friends. Sandy Pond is a hidden gem, one mile by 3/4 miles in area, it is stocked annually with brown trout by the State of Maine and also boasts many other species for your fishing adventures. Sandy Pond has a 10 horse power limit on boat motors making it peaceful even in the height of the summer season.  Enjoy your morning coffee on our private dock or spacious deck with spectacular sunrise views accompanied only by the cry of one of our nesting loons.
Swimming is safe and enjoyable for all ages as the entry to the pond is gradual. The water warms up nicely in the summer.  In the evenings enjoy conversation by a campfire at our fire pit.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the home. Guests will have exclusive and private use of the 133' of waterfront including dock.

Extra charge applies for more than 7 overnight guests.
Propane fuel for grill is included in rental.
Kayaks available (2 single, one tandem)
Pets are allowed with prior approval, proper documentation and paid pet fee of $50 per night per pet. Maximum of 2 pets.
Linens are available for $150
Minimum 7 night stay during summer months.
Pontoon paddle boat available to rent.

This vacation destination is right smack in the middle of nature's play ground! Steps from our door enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, 4 wheeling, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Within a short ride you will find skiing or golf at Maine's premiere mountain, Sugarloaf. A public boat launch with easy access to Embden Pond is only one mile away. Embden Pond is 6 miles long and stocked with land locked salmon by the State of Maine's largest hatchery, located right on the water’s edge. Bingham is 20 minute ride and hosts some of Maine’s best white water rafting. Day trips include a trip to Greenville to explore Moosehead Lake-the State's largest lake, or check out the local antique mall in nearby Fairfield.  If you are a hunter this area is full of the richest wildlife that Maine has to offer.

We are lifelong Mainers and enjoy sharing the beauty of our State with our guests. Andrew is a general contractor and master carpenter with over 30 years experience in the trade. Joanna is a social worker and enjoys coordinating with our guests. We live in Southern Maine with our two children and our lab, Zoe. We own three vacation rental properties. Two are located in the Point Sebago Resort: 1215 Fox Circle and 1017 Club Sebago Way. Our third property is a 3 bedroom custom built lakefront log home in Embden ME that we designed and built from the ground up. All are listed on AirBnb.
