Other Things to Note
The retreat center is 2 miles down a dirt road off of 89A between Sedona & Cottonwood. It takes approximately 20 minutes to reach town. Regular cars are easily able to drive the dirt road. This location is a true Sanctuary!
No pets are allowed in the house. Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside of the house. We also ask that there is no open drinking in the common areas. If you want to enjoy a drink in your room or privately on the property & by the creek indiscreetly we are fine with that.
I couldn't have felt more welcome at Grace Grove. Puma's place really is a haven, and I wouldn't mind going back! For those of you urban folk, I do recommend arriving when it's light out. I drove in from Phoenix very late at night and the dirt roads were harder to navigate for me at that time. However, Puma and the staff were super kind and very accomodating to my late arrival. Upon waking, I discovered I was in a remote paradise- beautiful views and only the sound of birds calling. I was so relaxed that I didn't want to go back to my real life. It was the perfect place to stay while I explored Sedona and the surrounding area.
I had a great experience here. It was so relaxing and I could've spent days connecting with the place and people. It's beautiful and very health conscious and personable. I felt so welcomed into the space. Thank you all.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Grace Grove! Puma and Morgan welcomed us to their beautiful place which is surrounded by gorgeous blossoming peach trees. We came down to experience Sedona but avoid the crowds of tourists. We loved staying away from it all and enjoyed our trek down the dirt road to the property which is surrounded by the river.
Our room was comfortable and we slept well on a king size bed which had plenty of covers to keep us warm so that we could enjoy the night breeze and wake up to the sound of birds. Our first morning we went to the river to enjoy a snack and watch the wild life. A beaver greeted us by swimming upstream and smacking its tail at us.
Puma made a tasty smoothie for breakfast. The fresh vegan mix was delicious. The kitchen is great, we felt welcome to use everything we needed ad there were plenty of dishes. We were happy to be able to recycle and compost.
We spent our days hiking and in the evening we would come home and brew a nice cup of tea (the selection was great) and head up to the roof top deck and look at the stars. It is actually dark enough to view the milky way.
Puma and Morgan are gracious hosts and we enjoyed the conversations that we shared. We wish you the best in all that you do!
Beautiful retreat and change from the daily grind, with comfortable accommodation and spacious common areas. Puma was welcoming as were other guests. A little bit off the beaten track, but that is certainly part of the charm. Would highly recommend for a peaceful trip and some downtime. Thanks again Puma!
What a lovely group of people that were staying with Puma. The room was very clean and the shower excellent. But more than everything it was the chats with fellow travelers that made this peaceful spot so enjoyable. Many thanks to Puma for all her help and I wish her all the best. If you are looking to get into the heart of Arizona and unwind then this is a perfect place. All the best and happy traveling
Puma made me feel very comfortable in her home. I really enjoyed the experience and getting to share dinner with Puma and her friends - it was such a gift. I plan to visit again sometime and stay longer next time!
