This beautiful country home & setting were just perfect for our girl's get-a-way weekend (Chico Wildflower Ride)!
Sally did absolutely everything possible to make sure our stay was relaxed and comfortable. Used the large country kitchen to make a great pre-ride meal and enjoyed dining outside. She got up with us at 5am to make sure we had fresh brewed coffee, nice breads, yogurt, fresh fruit etc. The home is spotless and the rooms were very comfortable. A real gem of a place!
Beautiful House, Close to campus on the quiet side, Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. very comfy upstairs
Amazing! I cannot begin to describe my experience with Sally! Her home is so beautiful, cozy and spacious. I stayed in the room with all the beautiful books, the bed inside was mighty comfortable. I stayed one night, less then 24 hours in Chico. I really wish I could have stayed longer. The property is safe and very quiet. Sally is who makes the experience great. She is a very sweet, inspiring and loving soul. Probably one of my favorite AIRBNB host that I have met to date. We had great conversation in between my work schedule and sleep, found that I could really relate to sally.
If you're ever in the area I recommend staying with Sally at her beautiful country home. She provides almost anything you could possibly need for your stay. Which is unlikely at most air bnbs. I will definitely be back to stay with Sally in the near future!
As always Sally's hospitality proved a legendary experience. Perfect weather, excellent sleep, my favorite kitchen, I have a long list of things that made my latest adventure in Chico awesome. But once again my lodgings at the red house made the top of it.
This was my second time at Sally's house. She is always so welcoming and makes the stay so easy. She is great at communicating, where to find things, the logistics of the stay etc.
The location is so convenient to the university and close to where my daughter lives in an apartment. Easy to go back and forth between events on campus, lunch in town and back to Sally's if I forgot something.
I love staying "out in the country" so quiet and peaceful, yet close to town.
Thank you again Sally for opening your home and warm hospitality.
We loved staying at this wonderful home. Sally is very kind and special. She extends the very best in hospitality. The home is clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Sally provided everything needed. We enjoyed the great breakfast treats and items from the garden. The location was good for us as we preferred to not be directly in town. I hated to leave this beautiful county setting. I hope to be back again when I can spend more time just relaxing and reading from Sally's incredible library.
