About This Listing
Our comfortable and quiet recently renovated flat is the top floor in a traditional Dalmatian enclosed patio in the old quarter of the town. It can fit a total of 5 people. 5 min. away from the beach!
The apartment consists of two large bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen, all for your private use. There are two twin beds in each room, which can be put together as a queen bed, and there is also an extra bed in case there is a fifth guest.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans and anything you would need for cooking and serving your meals. There is a small table for dining in the biggest room but you can also eat on the downstairs terrace or the patio.
There is AC in the rooms, free Wifi, and towels and soap will be provided.
Interaction with Guests
My grandmother (Marija) will be the one welcoming you, she can speak German and Croatian, and a little English and Italian. In any case she is very friendly and has been renting rooms for a very long time, so she will find a way to communicate when/if language is a barrier.
For any further questions you can always message me and I will reply as soon as possible. I speak fluent English, Spanish and French (and Croatian too!)
The house is in an ideal location because it is an enclosed patio, therefore you don't hear any street noises. It is located in the old part of town, which is for pedestrians only. It is close to literally everything in town: a few minutes away from the market, 10 minutes away from the bus station, a couple of minutes away from the harbour and main promenade and 5 minutes away from the beach (all walking minutes)
You don't really need public transportation, you can walk everywhere!

Very cute and cosy apartment at the heart of the Old Town. Nice and spacious bedroom with two seperate beds, a small kitchen and a clean light bathroom. Ksenija's grandmother made sure we had a great arrival and provided us with everything we needed. There also is a free parkingspace close to the apartment, but make sure you bring Ksenijas's granmother when you are leaving the parkinglot. We hade some trouble leaving without the parkingcard.
Ksenija and her grandmother were extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to help with finding me a carpark for after my stay - something they did not have to do but did gladly. The apartment is in a great location behind the marina in a small courtyard. Close to everything and easy to get around.
Apartment is located in old center of Makarska.
We were a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children), we arrived by bus (5-10 min walking) and it was very convenient to do everything just walking around as it is closed to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, tourist office, bus station…we even took the boat to go and visit islands of Hvar and Brac.
Apartment is clean, quiet and fully equipped, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 small kitchen.
Everything was perfect even if wifi sometimes did not work properly.
Ksenija was reactive and pleasant before and during renting. We spoke in French for organization.
We were hosted by Maria, Ksenija grand-mother who is very nice and available.
The apartment is situated in the cozy old town of Makarska. It is part of a lovely backyard.
The apartment is not too spacious, but big enough for four. It has two bedrooms with double beds and a small kitchen in the entrance area.
Keep in mind that you can't drive into the old town. There is a parking spot 5 min. from the apartment, however.
We felt very welcomed and would always stay at Ksenija's place again!
Nice place to stay, exactly like showed in the photos.
In the city center, but not noisy at all.
Marija was really kind with us and she helped with any problem/doubt we had.
The main door it's not accesible by caar, but the parking it's just 1 minute away.
Only inconvenients: wifi router it's too far from the appartment, so it's nearly impossible to have a good connection. Also, we didn't use air conditioning device cause the air smell was weird....
