Lovely room within a small but perfectly formed house.
The house is one of the original terraced houses in the village, so need to drive to dinner and within walking distance of Powerscourt House. Full of character and charm it has been recently modernised with an eclectic interior so it's the best of both worlds!
1 Double Bedroom
Shared bathroom which has a shower, washbasin and toilet (sheets and towels provided)
You are welcome to use the large modern kitchen, living room and private garden to the rear of the house.
I live here with my slightly mad but lovely Jack-Russell dog who is delighted to keep anyone company.
Interaction with Guests
Happy to advise on local places to eat and visit. Can also suggest walking routes and arrange horse riding upon request.
Enniskerry is a known as the Gateway to Wicklow, with the Powerscourt Waterfalls and Wicklow mountains nearby. It offers great walking routes and is very popular with cyclists and horse riders. The village is well catered for with quaint coffee shops pubs, antique and art shops.
In addition to the forests and mountains there are many tourist attractions in the surrounding areas such as Glendalough and the coastal towns of County Wicklow.
There is free on street parking in the village and easy access to Dublin via the M50 or no 44 bus. Perfect location to walk to the pubs and coffee shops or for hikers or cyclists wishing to access the Wicklow way and other routes.
No smoking in the house.
The village is quiet and peaceful and the neighbours expect it to remain so.
Exactly what I needed!! A comfy, well dressed bed in a lovely clean home. Thanks Ashlene.
Great place to stay, a modern, nice and clean house looked after really well located in a safe neighbourhood. The room was nice and with a big comfortable bed. The host was very kind and helpful. We'd recommend this property to anyone.
The house was beautiful! such as the village! I had a lovely stay there. I didn't get the chance to see Ashleen to much, but she was really kind and gentle. I highly recommend stay here.
I had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous home. The village is cute and has so many options for eating and some quaint little shops. It was a great base for four nights to explore the Wicklow area (Glendalough, Greystones, Powerscourt) and coming home to a clean, warm house with stunning decor and a million television channels was a dream.
Thank you Ashlene (and Clancy) for being so welcoming and generous with your space.
I enjoyed the stay at Ashlene's very modern, clean and in a beautiful village.
