The Space

Hidden in the suggestive Medina of Marrakech rises this beautiful riad restored with love and respect for the whole African culture.
Visiting us will bring you in contact with a relaxed and peaceful lifestyle which western societies have lost long time ago.
You will have the pleasure to enjoy fine Moresque ambient, with its soft colours and traditional materials without loosing comfort and luxury.
In the coolness of the courtyard time takes a different shape, flowing quietly under the banana trees, taking you in a relaxing and meditative atmosphere you will not forget.
We invite you to rest on our peaceful terrace, looking at the horizon beyond the roofs and palm trees, where snow sleeps on the mighty African continent.
We will be very happy about your visit, our goal is to make you feel at home, for an unforgettable holiday in Morocco !
Enjoy our riad and his friendly staff !

You can book your excursions, your day trips and your Hammas directly here at the Riad.

We also offer restaurant service, you will be able to choose between different traditional dishes cooked by Beija.

  • It was a perfect stay at Riad Bamileke: everything from the first contact went really smooth. We were picked up at the airport and due to our early arrival we couldn't get in our room right away, but were offered a yummy petit dejeuner which was a really nice gesture! Alberto & his friend made sure that we were comfortable at any time and gave us directions for the city as it seems impossible to navigate through the hustle and bustle of the souks and the medina at the beginning, but it became easier in the course of the time. The riad's location is also a big plus as you can come back to have a rest and then throw yourself back into the wild again easily.
Although our stay was during Ramadan, Alberto was able to organize an authentic Moroccan meal cooked by a friend of his.
Riad Bamileke is a nice hideaway with good vibes! We totally recommend staying here. Thank you - you made the Marrakech experience perfect!

  • The listing was everything I could have wanted. Beautiful spot to stay at during my last stop in Morocco.

    Palatial room was beautifully decorated.
Simone and Mateo were attentive and helpful. One of the best meals I ate was cooked by Mateo.

  • This is an incredibly wonderful Riad. The room was palatial and majestic, with a range of genuine artefacts. We highly recommend for those with a penchant for romance.

  • Ryad situé idéalement à 5 minutes à pied de la place Jameel al fnaa, lieu très propre bien tenu par des gens charmants... Bref à découvrir!

  • Our stay at the riad was perfect start to finish. Simone, Alberto and Matteo were incredibly helpful accommodating our early arrival and preparing wonderful meals throughout our stay. The room was incredibly gorgeous, extremely clean and comfortable. The biggest challenge was forcing ourselves to leave the riad/terrace! The riad deserves the highest recommendation and encourage travelers new to Marrakesh to stay there.

  • I had a lovely time at the riad. It's the perfect place to be based for a couple of days while you explore Marakesh. It's so close to the main square, you can hear the snake charmers from the roof terrace - and a calm clean and gorgeous place to relax after shopping in the souks. The suite I had was great - a large four poster bed, a huge bath, and a study. Breakfast on the roof terrace is perfect - I wish I had booked in for more days.

  • The riad was amazing. Wonderful roof terrace and incredible room! WE could not have asked for more...perfect location, super helpful staff and everything was great! If you are going to this city, stay here!!! It's better than the photos!

  • We stayed at Reb's place from the 4th - 11th June with a gap of two nights to go on a Sahara tour. We made the mistake of booking a transfer through easy jet and it was quite stressful as we were taken to the wrong Riad. We would definitely recommend booking the transfer through Reb instead!
The location is great! It really is just round the corner from Jemaa al fan.
The Riad is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room was huge! We stayed in the suite which is the first room as you enter the riad. It had a large four poster bed and a spare bed in a separate section to the room.
We were very well looked after by Simone and Alberto who were always around to give advice when required. They also arranged for us to have a traditional couscous meal at a moroccan family home which was delicious. They also cooked for us one night - we had a grill on the rooftop terrace - we had a huge and delicious meal of different starters, meats, fish and a dessert.
The rooftop terrace was a particular highlight. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

We loved our stay at the Riad and would not hesitate to recommend it!

I love traveling and enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, I really like to host people from different countries with different cultures. My biggest love is Africa, love to travel it from north to south..... I felt in love with Marrakech several years ago and decide to settle down in this beautiful place. I would describe myself as a great globetrotter...
