When desired, the entire White House Inn may be reserved; it is well suited for large families. It is located in downtown Nauvoo. The entire house has three suites with private, full bathrooms. The main floor has two bedrooms with total of three queen beds, and a full kitchen. Second floor bedroom has four queen beds.

The space
The White House Inn is a lovely home, built originally in the 1850s. (we believe, by a Catholic family that immigrated from France), now updated. Upstairs the bedroom has 4 beds and an attached bath. The second room is set up as a living room

If you planning on bringing pets please let us know beforehand. There is an extra cleaning fee of $25 for pets. If pets are snuck in it’s an additional $50 charge


We provide approximately three days worth of paper goods and toiletries such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

No large gatherings or youth groups with out permission. There will be an additional $250 fee for any such event.

Guest access
You alone have full access to the White House Inn during your stay. Each bedroom has its own lock. The sliding glass doors to the back patio have a lock. You may use the wood bar to lock that door if wanted.

Neighborhood highlights

The White House Inn is in Nauvoo's downtown, and has everything from the Fudge Factory to a Dollar General to Casey's gas station, and many curio, art and souvenir shops. Just on the west end of town is the Nauvoo Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And just down the hill are tours of the pioneer homes and businesses authentically restored.
