Eileen's place was perfectly located and a great place to explore all of Austin. The home itself is very nice, clean and comfortable. The patio is a perfect place to chill and have a beer. Eileen is a gracious host and checked in on us to make sure we were ok and provided snacks for us to munch on. Overall, two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
We had a great visit in Austin and the house was perfect. Eileen gave us great recommendations on where to eat and go out - all were fantastic.
The kitchen had everything we needed and she even left us a few snacks and fresh coffee, which I enjoyed on the porch in the morning. It's our 3rd trip to Austin using airbnb and if we have the chance to come back next year, this will be our first choice.
Eileen (and her place!) were great. Lots of sleeping places and comfortable living space. Very equipped kitchen with coffees, teas, condiments and full cooking ware. Beautiful outdoor space. Great master shower. Convenient to small convenience store. Flexible owner. Owner supplied enough keys for everyone in group to have her own set. Could use designated closet space for guests. Overall, great house, neighborhood, clean, etc.
I was in town with two other guys for the F1 weekend. I managed a decent arrangement last year and thought I would try it again, with a slightly larger closer location. I found Eileen's listing and after some discussion we decided it was an acceptable place. It turned out to be a great match of location, space, privacy, and convenience. We walked to alot of our destinations, and found some unexpected great plaecs nearby. Juan in Million for Bfast- was a great time, as was the several times we ate pizza at Buffalina. The White Horse is a great honky tonk, and our hostess Eileen helped us put our plans together perfectly. We would definitely stay again, and will try to make more time to relax and get to Chicken shit bingo!
We had a very good stay at Eileen's house during SXSW Interactive. The house is just 20 minutes walk away from the convention center in a nice and calm neighboorhood, and with a shop and breakfast tacos right across the street. The house was clean and with a nice backyard, and Eileen had left us coffee and eggs and all the information we needed for a great stay.
About the Host, Eileen
We've lived in this house for 14 years and remodeled it slowly and creatively. We love renting the house out to help us afford our travel itch. Our long and short term guests often return and always love it here. This is the first time on Air BnB and likely wont be the last!
