Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
*We've moved flats in the same building, we're now 5/3.*

The perfect blend of location, comfort & hospitality from which to explore Scotland's greatest metropolis! Upon arrival, you will find a comfy room in a friendly apartment, nestled in one of the most historic areas of this historic city. While we don't provide breakfast, there is tea, coffee & a mini fridge in the room.

Self checkin is available from 12, however the room is cleaned at 5:30.

The space
The room itself is contemporary, clean, and comfortable, benefiting from its own private bathroom which is within the room so you're less likely to fall over during nighttime excursions trying to find a bathroom in an unfamiliar apartment.

Guest access
There is shared use of a fully equipped kitchen, with complete access to herbs, spices, and oils as required, although there is also what is possibly Glasgow's most extensive selection of takeaway menus should you feel so inclined. Tea and coffee are also available gratis although, be warned, coffee is only available using a traditional Italian mocha. If you don't know how to use this, I'm happy to show you how. You won't be disappointed. Finally, the living room sports an iMac, habitually used as a TV, but which guests are at liberty to use to check social networks, watch movies, etc.

Other things to note
Check-in and check-out times are very flexible, unless there are guests staying immediately before or after you. In this case, check-out of 11:00am and check-in of 6:00pm is the working target.

We both work, but have a safe key pickup allowing you to checkin without us being there. Please note that we will clean the room when we get home.

Location

Calton, Glasgow

The apartment itself is located about a fifteen minute walk, in a straight line, from St. Enoch subway station - directly between the Merchant City, Glasgow's luxury district, and the Barrowlands, a Glasgow institution with it's ballroom by the same name commonly playing host to musicians of international renown. Walking passed this, you will find a large Morrison's supermarket, which offers all the groceries you could possibly need should you be planning a more extended stay.

Given the apartment's close proximity to the city centre, there is walking access to literally anything the city centre has to offer. As a brief run down of Glasgow's more famous attractions, Glasgow Green containing the architectural majesty of the People's Palace and Winter Gardens (and fermentational majesty of West Brewery's official bar, one of Glasgow's craft breweries), Tennents Brewery, The Necropolis, Buchanan Street, Scottish Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow Cathedral, Glasgow Film Theatre, Cineworld Glasgow (only worth mentioning because it's Europe's tallest cinema), The Arches, and the famous Duke of Wellington statue, are all quite easily within walking distance. King Tut's Wah-Wah Hut, The Stand Comedy Club, and Sub Club are close enough that most people would be able to walk to them, but might struggle on the way back after a few drinks.

Two expats - living, working, socialising - in this great city.
During your stay
Prevailing opinion is we're a pretty social and friendly couple, so we're happy to hang out with guests if they feel like it and we happen to be around. Although, there's a good chance we'll be out working. We try to greet guests myself, but might occasionally arrange for a neighbour to let you in. We'll leave our numbers in the event you need to contact us for any reason after you arrive. We can supply a map of Glasgow, any advice about the city as requested, and we're happy to give any additional information prior to guests arrival.
