About this listing
Just a block from the Chelsea Market, Dos Caminos, high fashion stores (DVF, Stella McCartney), the Apple Store, Le Pain Patisserie and more! This beautiful studio is in the heart of NYC's best neighborhood.

Sleeps 5 comfortably:
Loft has Queen bed
Main area has Queen murphy bed and fold out full sized sofa bed
This is a Chelsea studio on a prime block. While the apartment has comfortably served 2 roommates for years, the studio is not spacious. But the layout is professionally designed and very comfortable. 11' ceilings, natural light from windows and beautiful ambient lighting from designer chandeliers and lamps.
Professionally designed and featured on HGTV. The space is beautiful with lots of character. See photos for furnishings and layout. Some recent design changes:
We moved the dining table to where the bar is, scrapped the bar entirely, and added a small L shaped sofa
(that opens into a bed). Also, we've pulled up the wall to wall blue/white carpeting (a terrible idea for NYC living) and laid down
some oriental rugs. My roommate and I are both interior designers so I assure you it looks even better (and is much more functional) than these photos. Also, we've changed the framed photos. (You wouldn't have to live our personal photos. )
Ample storage in loft area (for bulky items) and 4 wardrobes for clothes/small storage.
Small but efficient kitchen area with mini fridge, 2 burner stove top and sink.
Full bath with tub/shower combo.
All linens (bedding & bath) included.
Subway stop at the corner.
Credit check required.

Jaime was fantastic she greeted us on arrival, gave us our keys and showed us how everything worked in the apartment. Jaime told us a litle bit about the neighbourhood and then left us to explore, she was always in contact when we needed her and respomded to any questions via text promptly and helpfully. The apartment has been updated since the current pictures it is cosy but functional, the size was really good for two people. We used both bed and had no trouble with either, it is a small apartment but feels really homely. Jaime has done a great job of being able to maximise avaliable space most things pull out or fold away which is great. It is great for a fantastic traditional new york apartment experience! The location was amazing, the chelsea market is a block away, grenwich avenue has so many fantastic food places. We did most of our shopping at west side market if you plan on cooking which is also a block away. Everything is so close the subway is on the same block and so easy to use and get around the city from those avaliable lines. Thanks so much to jaime amd he hospitality we loved our stay!
Jaime was a great host, she was very responsive when there was an issue that came up or when we had questions. She also gave us suggestions for good, inexpensive restaurants in the area. The apartment is in a great location in the city, great access to the subway system (especially if you're there in the winter and are trying to avoid the cold weather whenever possible). There are also plenty of dining options within a few blocks, both sit down restaurants and take out style. If you're looking to go out in the city, this is the perfect neighborhood to be in, a lot of the cool bars and clubs in Chelsea and Meatpacking District are right around the corner. Also other great things right nearby are Chelsea Market and the High Line, and a pretty easy walk (or subway ride) to Penn Station/Madison Square Garden and Union Square. The apartment itself was very small, so if you're staying with more than a single person it definitely gets cramped but you can make due if you're not planning on spending much time in the apartment except to sleep. There is plenty of closet space, both hanging and shelving, which was unexpected for NYC standards. The kitchen consists of a sink, mini fridge, and small 2-burner stove so don't expect to cook much. The bathroom was small but adequate. I slept in the loft bed, which got uncomfortably warm because it was right next to the hot water pipe in the bathroom. Even though I was there in January-March, I had to leave the window open all day and night so that the sleeping area was comfortable, leaving the rest of the apartment pretty cold. There was a fan up there but it didn't help too much. There is a window A/C unit to use to keep the place cool in the summer-- since the unit is high in the window that might help with the cooling of the loft in the summer. The building itself was very old and pretty run down, but this apartment seems to have been well kept and there weren't any serious issues. The washer and dryer are in the basement, coin-operated, and are not great but it's better than having to go to a laundromat. Overall, this was not the cheapest price for what the apartment actually offered, but I guess you pay more for the location here.
Jaime was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She made sure we could pick up the keys when needed and when we had questions about things in the apartment was responsive and supportive. We loved staying in the apartment and would recommend it for people looking for a great location and cute place to stay in the city.
I stayed at Jaime's apartment for 3 months, and thoroughly enjoyed making it my home in that time. The location is unbeatable - safe, fun, there's a subway on the corner and lots of great stores and places to eat/drink. The apartment is small, but has everything you would need and the space has been used in a very clever and effective way. As I am now living in NYC I bought a lot with me, and there was plenty of storage for all my gear and all my shopping over the months! The bed is comfy and easy to fold up and down from the wall everyday if you choose not to sleep in the loft.
The building is nice but old, the elevator broke a couple of times whilst I was there but was fixed quickly.
All in all a great stay and an apartment I would highly recommend for a single or couple.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Jaime's apartment. It was clean and beautifully decorated, and the location is amazing! There were quite a few fun things to see and do within walking distance, and it was so convenient having the subway station right on the corner of the street. Jaime was kind, helpful, and very easy to work with!
Fantastic apartment! Much bigger than it looks in the photos! Could not have asked for a better place for the month long stay! I read my flight information wrong and had to stay an extra night Jaime sorted it all out with no problems whatsoever.
The apartament is great! It is small but very comfortable. Wardrobes are very spacious and airconditioning works great, which is vital in summertime. Just half block from the bulding entrance there is A C E and L subway. Around the corner there is Chelsea Market, a great place to eat at midday.
Jaime is really nice. She wasn't able to be at the apartament the day we arrived but she wrote us a lot of mails to know if we were ok, if we need anything of if there were something we were having problems with. Actually one night the toilette seemed to be plugged, we wrote her an email and the next day somebody came to see which was the problem.
We recommend it very much!
