The space
MOST COMMON FEEDBACK: "Wish we had stayed longer." Consider 2 nights instead of one— there is much to do and see in Albuquerque!

Little House of the Dove is a serene guesthouse located on a large lot with tall trees and meandering gardens. The 300 square foot studio is appropriate for single travelers or two who are very comfortable with sharing an intimate space.

The classic dutch door is a lovely way to enjoy the constant bird songs while still maintaining semi-privacy.

The best spot on the property to enjoy a New Mexico moment is on the casita porch vintage patio chairs with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

The charming hand-painted Mimbres-style tiles found around the property were created by the previous home owner and Southwest scholar.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the multiple garden seating areas, the walking paths and patio tables throughout the property. The casita sits within our family property. We respect your privacy and appreciate your consideration in enjoying the shared spaces.

Other things to note
* Please note that in the coldest winter months some may find the space chilly. The efficient mini split and supplemental heaters provided can get the room very toasty but if you're someone who has a hard time getting warm, please consider.

Guests traveling with infants (age 0-1) are welcome, but you will need to bring a portable crib or other suitable sleeping accommodation.

We offer discounts to repeat guests and artists or musicians looking to create new work on an extended stay. Just message me to discuss!

Be realistic and proactive. Remove all valuables and secure your vehicle.

For longer stays of 4 days or more, laundry service can be arranged.

Unfortunately, this property is not wheelchair accessible. The entryway is gravel and the garden paths have many uneven surfaces.

The casita is regularly treated with organic, non-toxic pest repellent. Nevertheless, bugs are a part of life here in the New Mexico desert. We make every effort to keep the property spotless for guests but we cannot completely control nature so be advised and make certain you’re accepting of this possibility before booking.

We do not discriminate against potential guests based on sexual or gender identity, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, age, or disability status.
