Great directions, comfy bed and room! I loved the lavender infusion as I entered the room. I loved it so much, I bought a diffuser the minute I got home.
Demi's place is very charming and had just the vibe I was looking for. Her home is very neat and clean. I was only there for a night and unfortunately did not get a chance to meet Demi.
The house rules and information with a welcome chocolate was a thoughtful touch. Demi's communication too is very accurate. Her place was very convenient located.
Demi is such a great hostess that you don't even need to meet her and you know how kind and caring she is.The first time I walk into my room, she prepared water and chocolate to warm me up.This room is cozy and warm, and beautifully decorated.A cat called Marley used to sleep with me every night during my stay, she is so lovely and friendly.i might spoiled her too much by allowing she to eat from my plates and playing with me all day.And I sincerely hope she can find other guests who loves her as much as I do.
Demi made me feel very welcome. The home was very neat and clean - she obviously cares a lot about her space. She had a few treats laid out for us as well as some water. One thing we didn't anticipate was Marley -- her cat (I missed it reading the post). However, despite my allergies, he was great. He's very affectionate and stays out of the bedroom.
The neighborhood is quaint and beautiful. You wouldn't be able to tell from the street that it's minutes from bustling downtown SLC.
I never saw Demi (or other guests for that matter, although I think there were guests in the room down the hall) but she was very receptive to my questions before I arrived. The house is very charming and the room is mostly as pictured, without the mosquito netting and dresser, but still lovely and roomy enough for me (although the bed sleeps two, I think the room would be very crowded with 2 guests.) Marley the cat was very friendly (I hadn't read closely enough to notice there was a cat on premises, and even though I am allergic, I didn't have any trouble with Marley, and he even slept in my room the last night I was there!) House is close to the 'free zone' for SLC public transit, which I took advantage of almost every day. Didn't get to use the kitchen except to make tea, but it's a nice option to be able to cook there.
Demi responded in a decent amount of time. The listing was accurate and the home super charming! My time here was delightful! Neighborhood was very convienient to downtown walking!
I had a lovely stay, the 2 nights I spent at Demi's were so peaceful. I never met Demi but she was always helpful via email or phone if I had any questions- or when i set off the fire alarm after burning some toast and didn't know how to turn it off! The house is so cosy and relaxing, as in the pictures. The chocolate on the bed was a very nice touch. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks Demi!

About the Host, Demi
I have been teaching yoga, meditation and nutrition for 10 years. I lead retreats all over the world and one of my favorite things to do is host and I like to think I'm pretty darn good at it!
I have a 4 yr old daughter who is my sidekick in just about everything. We enjoy walks to the park and library, gardening, singing and dancing.
I love traveling and meeting new people. I used to be a flight attendant and people would always ask me what my favorite place to travel was. My answer was always the same. "It didn't matter so much about the destination, but anywhere I could experience the "local" experience was always the most amazing trip.
I wish Air B and B was around when I was flying, but very excited to be a part of this community.
