A most unusual house and very energy efficient. As there are only 3 dwellings like it in the whole of Europe I can almost guaranty that you have not seen the likes of it before.
Visitors comment on the atmosphere the roundness creates. A "compact" spaciousness you have to experience for yourself !

There is plenty of room for your kids, and you are more than welcome to join us in or use our garden. Here we also keep our "Staff" of breakfast egg producing chickens in "the Chicken Hilton hotel".
There is shaded and covered space for late BBQ's and there is no streetnoise.
Your livingroom upstairs has a balcony overlooking the livingroom downstairs. The wonderfull vieuw of the star spangled ceiling will add to your feeling of wellness.
The beach and shopping centre are a mere 300 meters away.
Between us, we speak Danish, Dutch, German, French, English, and a bit of Spanish.
€69,- for 2 adults, additional grown ups and children are €20,- each per night.
Breakfast items are included in the price as is bedding and towels. As there is a fully fitted kitchen in the apartment guests can prepare their breakfast at the time of their choice.

Lena, Nico and Hans.
At the end of your stay, pls. remove your bedsheets and leave them next to the washing mashine in the entrance.
No smoking in the house but you are more than welcome to use the covered patio outside for your filthy but wonderfull habit. (I will join you if you don't mind -Hans).
Hans was truly the host with the most! He made us feel very welcome and we appreciated the time learning about the dome and hearing his philosophies on life. It was our most personable Airbnb experience yet, so if you book at the domehouse expect to leave feeling like you've stayed in a spacious, clean and comfortable home but also like you've spent time with an old friend.
You know what??
After you and Andy left that morning, to truly start the next phase of your life, I felt like I had known you two for much longer than I actually had! And that wasn't the exellent beer either!! It confirmed to me that strangers are in effect friends that you have not met yet!
Hope to run into you again at some time.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Domehouse! Hans (one of the owners) was very welcoming and we literally had the hole House for us!
The place is quite unique and Hans took care of us with keeping the oven warm! Had a good conversation with some glasses of wine one evening! Breakfast stuff, fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden and also 2 bottles of wine and fruit were provided. Supermarket is close by with the best Croissant's ever.
Beach is also 300m away and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I can really recommend the place. The previous Feedback here on AirBNB does not reflect the truth - I was a little bit afraid but the place is good and just "different".
Thanks Hans for the pleasent stay and a relaxed time in Esbjerg!

That your expectations were not fullfilled doesn't mean that it is all bad!! We posted more photos than the average host and that is to give the viewer a chance to better judge the accomodation. You certainly did that! That you don't like silk flowers does not mean that the interior is all tat, as you implied. I exlpained that there was a small window leak (rainwater) that I have been hunting. Yes there is a small wetspot but "the walls are not mouldy". Most people like a cooler bedroom that's why the bedroom door was closed. If opened the temp. will quickly equalize.
We have guests from all over the world with different breakfast cultures. Therefore we decided to offer a fully fitted kitchen that provides the guests with the tools to prepare their breakfast (meals) when and how they like it. In addition we provide a basket with 2 bottles of wine, softdrinks, fruit, cheese, freshly laid eggs from our own chickens, butter, coffee and tea. For obvious reasons, some of those items are in the fridge. If you had tried you would have noticed that the wine, although not chateau Lafite, is a pleasant drinking wine. From the empty wine bottles you left in our bin I deducted that you are not a wine afficionado yourself!!
The interior of the dome is plastered with a mixture of clay/sand (ton) which provides for an allergy neutral interior. If you had given me half the chance I would have gladly told you more about the hidden qualities of this very special building.
You have past up a chance to learn something and ran off in a huf for all the wrong reasons, your loss.
As Nico and Lena were out of town the door to the office was open, I could have closed that if you had asked. You basically had the house to yourselves!!
We had a excelent time at the domehouse. A nice and cosy place. We enjoyed dinner and good talk with hans. Perfect place to explore the erea. Really loved it.

Esbjerg is situated in the South Western part of Danmark, there where the Vikings took off from and came home to. Several of their settlements, now open air musea, are near to where we live. But don't worry, the Vikings are all gone, while we are very much alive and much friendlier.
Esbjerg is Danmarks center for the offshore, oil- and windmill industry.
Also sports and education are trademarks of our city. It is also a windy city. We get lots of fresh air blown in from the north sea, but that is for free for now, and we hope it will remain untaxed.
Lena, Nico and Hans.
