This apartment is located near Piazza San Marco in Venice next to the Arsenale: the Arsenale of Venezia is a very large part of the city island and was the heart of Venetian shipbuilding industry. It has one of the first industrial area which introduced the modern concept of factory. It is linked to the most flourishing period of the life of the Serenissima: thanks to the massive ships built here. Moreover the apartment is an walking distance from the gardens of the Biennale.
So the location is very convenient for exploring this amazing city.
The apartment can host up to 4 people, and it's really ideal for families, also with children. It's on the ground floor and it's made by a lounge with a comfortable sofa, a TV and a table with chairs for lunches and dinners, a bedroom with a double bed size and a spacious wardrobe, a small bedroom with single bed. Plus, there are also, a bathroom and a kitchen equipped with sink, oven, stove, etc..
Finally, the apartment is equipped with heating and therefore it's suitable at any time of year. Inside the apartment there are no pets.

We really liked this flat, & would gladly stay here again. The neighborhood is cute & residential, but just a 10-minute walk from the unmissable (incredibly crowded) St. Mark's square. It's amazing how the crowds & stress levels drop away as you cross back into the Castello sestiere!
Our friendly and professional host Alberto met us at the Arsenale vaporetto stop & led us to the apartment. It's just a three-minute walk, but if you're unfamiliar with Venice's winding alleys, you would never find the apartment on your own. He also gave us a quick orientation to the neighborhood & marked our map with highlights.
The comfortable apartment itself is more spacious than it appears from the photos, although the second bedroom is quite small & not very private. (It's suitable for a child; there's also a fold-up bed for a fourth person.) It's wonderfully sunny when you open the shutters. Kitchen is small but fully equipped. Decor is bare-bones, so don't expect a grand movie-style palazzo.
The unit sits on a charming canal-front campo (an open space), where you can get a glimpse of Venetian life. We pulled out a few chairs, some wine & some lovely meat & cheese from the neighborhood market to enjoy the evening scene. (Also, if it's sunny, feel free to hang your hand-washed laundry on the clothesline!)
We weren't there during the Bienniale; however, because this apartment sits just across the canal from the Arsenale, it would be ideally located.
(PS: No wifi, but reasonable cellular data signal from TIM, the local mobile company.)
Apartamento muy bien situado, espacioso, limpio! Y un barrio tranquilo sin muchos turistas pero bien situado, para ir andando la plaza San Marco y otros sitios o el vaporetto a 2 minutos.
Alberto contesto inmediatamente a mis consultas y peticiones. RECOMENDADO
Alberto was a great host and we had a great time at his place in Venice, nice and clean and great location. Highly recommended!
Wonderful area! Alberto gave good directions to the place and useful information. Apartment is fine and clean, situated in a quiet neighbourhood.
My two adult children and I had a great experience at Alberto's flat. Alberto was out of town when we arrived, but one of his friends met us at the water bus stop and guided us to the flat, which was less than ten minutes away. She was very friendly and made us feel welcomed in the flat. She gave us all the information we needed about the apartment and the neighborhood. Alberto was ready to help during our stay.
The flat is in a quiet building in a residential part of Venice, about 20 minute walk to San Marco's Plaza. The building is in a small plaza by a canal, where locals meet to chat in the evening. It was wonderful to rest there at the end of a busy sightseeing day! The flat was spacious, very clean and comfortable; we felt quite at home. The beds were very comfortable. There are restaurants and small food shops within a few minute walk from the flat.
We definitely recommend this flat!
