About this listing
Cozy room in a lovely house, living room with views of the Harbor, Netlix TV, pandora music, internet. Convenient walking distance to restaurants, galleries, etc. One of the most quaint towns in Puget Sound area.
This is a lovely room on our 1st floor. It is adjacent to Room # 1 Room #2 does not have a bedroom view of the Harbor (but the view from the living area is spectacular). The rooms share a bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a separate entry on first floor. We typically don't use the 1st floor when we have guests. Each room comes with full bed. We are located right in downtown Gig Harbor. Maximum of 2 persons per room. Living room area has large screen TV with internet video selections (netflix, bbc, etc.), sofa, chair and view -- and shared if Room # 1 and #2 are in use. Home overlooks the Harbor, yacht moorings and an awesome view of Mount Rainier when it is out. Two to twenty minute walk along the harbor quay to a variety of restaurants, wine bars, lively taverns, art galleries, boutiques, bookstores, small grocery, etc. Beautiful, quiet and clean. No kitchen facilities but plenty of restaurants within 2 to 30 minute walk -- you choose -- seafood, Thai, Nouveau Northwest, Italian, etc. Lovely views are yours come rain or shine. Great home base to go see Tacoma art galleries, Museum of Glass, Gig Harbor Historical Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Space Needle, EMP Museum, Washington State Ferry is a half hour away and can take you to Seattle the easy way.
Shared living room and bathroom if Room #2 is in use.
