Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Lemon House. The house is an incredibly nice place to be with a beautiful garden at the front and three balconies to enjoy the mountains to the south and sea to the north. It is also situated in a lovely and non touristy village. We highly recommend the bakery across the street for fresh bread and Madeira cakes. This is an idyllic place and we can't recommend it enough.

  • Had a lovely time at the Lemon House. The kitchen and the garden are particular high points and, with all the herbs growing, can be well combined! On top of that, the purple chair in the bedroom is probably the comfiest thing I've ever sat on.

Definitely stock up on the way to your stay (the directions recommend stopping off at the supermarket in Santana. It's only about a twenty minute drive, but it's rather hilly! There are two little local shops only two minutes walk away for essentials though, such as running out of wine.

In short, I'd thoroughly recommend a stay, provided that you're after getting away from it all.

The town of Santana is approximately 19 minutes drive away from the house.

  • Véritable coin de paradis & de paix pour tous les amoureux de la nature et pour les personnes qui recherche du calme. Maison de charme très bien tenue. Excellent accueil plein d'attention de la part de Lionel et de son épouse.
