About this listing
Wonderful appartment with gardened terrace on Lamarck street. 6th floor with elevator overlooking Montmartre Hill and West Paris. Very sunny appartment looking south / south west. Hectic & arty neighbourhood with plenty of typical French food shops
Ideally located in the Montmartre area, with nice views from its 6th storey gardened terrace, south oriented and hooked over the Lamarck street, my 70 squared meter flat is spacious, luminous and nicely furbished in a mix of antique and modern styles.
Entirely refurbished early 2009 to have an open day space (living room with chimney + american kitchen/bar + convertible sofa) with 2 accesses to the terrace (table + 4 chairs + 1 sunbed) and a night space (1 bedroom in rotunda with small balcony and a very nice contemporary bathroom with a big window overlooking the terrace). Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, Nespresso, fridge/freezer, toaster, induction plates/oven).
Flat equipped with TV, DVD, Hi-Fi system, Free high speed Internet / Wifi access and free domestic calls.

Interaction with Guests
I do interact as often as required by my guests for them to feel really comfirtable during their stay.
The neighbourhood is full of real parisian life with a strong concentration of typical French food shops, restaurants and cafés. Most of oarisian people living in this neighbourhood have their strong habits
No pet, no kid under 10.
Always double lock the entrance door while not in and switch off the lights.
You MUST get off your shoes in the bedroom as the wooden floor is really noisy for my old neighbour on the 5th floor and be quiet in the flat between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Parties are not allowed in the appartment as this disturbs considerably my neighbourhood
Upon check out, please make sure that you leave the place in a way similar to the one you found it when you checked in!
Many thanks for your understanding and your compliance with the rules.
Romain was a great host. He was very helpful to us and provided us with good information about his neighborhood. The apartment itself is beautiful and well thought out and the flowers outside made coffee in the morning a dream. Top marks and highly recommended!
Excellent stay at a Romain's very elegant apartment. Superbly equipped, lovely balconies and a hop, skip and a jump from every amenity.
We had a wonderful time in Paris and Romain's flat in Montmartre was a big part of that! Loved the location! Enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on foot, buying goods from the local markets, and trying local neighborhood restaurants in the evening. The flat was very comfortable and had great light flowing in through the two balconies! Romain was a great host, and was very helpful with all of our questions about the neighborhood and Paris.
The apt was well located and very clean and nicely decorated. We would love to return in the future! Our host was great with communication as well as quick to respond with any questions we had. He was also very helpful finding local places to go when we needed something. It was a pleasure to stay at the apt and we are looking forward to coming back!
The apartment was beautiful, everything was as described and more. Great location near a train station in beautiful Montmartre. Loved the updated bathroom and kitchen and our host was very quick to respond when we had questions or needed help. It was about a 15 minute train ride into Paris but was very nice to stay in the trendy and more quiet area near Sacre Coeur.
From start to finish Romain was the perfect host, made us feel at home straight away.
His apartment is beautiful; incredibly stylish and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay.
Wonderful attention to detail right through his home . The shower is amazing!
The location is great and Romain left a comprehensive list of places to eat and drink in the area ( it's in a fantastic location!) and clear instructions for things like taxis etc. The apartment is on the 6th floor so the lift was welcome. The flat has a beautiful garden terrace with great views of the city, a perfect place to eat breakfast.
Romain and his apartment helped make our first family holiday very special!
The apartment is decorated very nicely and with a sense of style. The plants complet the apartment excellent. It was very clean and allowed my wife and me a wonderful stay in Paris. The surrounding area is ideal to make daily needs purchases. There are some nice restaurants in the area too. Access to the Metro is given in 7 min. The location is ideal for a romantic stay in Paris. By good weather you can reach Sacre Coeur by feet ;-).
Feedback from Romain was always very quick and to your complete satisfaction. Cause of his trip abroad, we haven't met Romain personally, but the keys were stored and handed out as agreed. In case of visiting Paris again, his home will definitifly be our first choice!

About the Host, Romain
Fond of travelling and discovering new cultures. My favourite sports are horse-riding and scuba diving.
Very much interested in multicultural big cities (New York, London and Tel Aviv especially, with Paris first for sure!). I developped some kind of passion for gardening and you will make your own idea during your stay at Montmartre
