Wonderful appartment with gardened terrace on Lamarck street. 6th floor with elevator overlooking Montmartre Hill and West Paris. Very sunny appartment looking south / south west. Hectic & arty neighbourhood with plenty of typical French food shops
Ideally located in the Montmartre area, with nice views from its 6th storey gardened terrace, south oriented and hooked over the Lamarck street, my 70 squared meter flat is spacious, luminous and nicely furbished in a mix of antique and modern styles.
Entirely refurbished in 2008 to have an open day space (living room with chimney + american kitchen/bar + convertible sofa) with 2 accesses to the terrace (table + 4 chairs + 1 sunbed) and a night space (1 bedroom in rotunda with small balcony and a very nice contemporary bathroom with a big window overlooking the terrace). Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, Nespresso, fridge/freezer, toaster, induction plates/oven).
Flat equipped with TV, DVD, Hi-Fi system, Free high speed Internet / Wifi access and free domestic calls.
The stone walled building dates from early 20th, with digicode and elevator. It is just a few blocks away from Place du Tertre / Sacré Coeur / Abbesses (10 minutes walk) and 5 minutes from Montmartre Cementery. An ideal location to discover charming and historic Montmartre and central to access all of Paris (direct bus serving Saint Lazare / Opéra-Gds Boulevards / Louvre / Saint Germain des Près and Montparnasse in the street + 2 underground lines).
More information on shops, restaurants and useful addresses in the vicinity are available online once the booking is made.
A cleaning charge of 50 EUR per week (minimum: 50 EUR) payable in cash upon arrival will be requested.

Interaction with Guests
I do interact as often as required by my guests for them to feel really comfirtable during their stay.
The neighbourhood is full of real parisian life with a strong concentration of typical French food shops, restaurants and cafés. Most of oarisian people living in this neighbourhood have their strong habits
No pet, no kid under 10.
Always double lock the entrance door while not in and switch off the lights.
You MUST get off your shoes in the bedroom as the wooden floor is really noisy for my old neighbour on the 5th floor and be quiet in the flat between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Parties are not allowed in the appartment as this disturbs considerably my neighbourhood
Upon check out, please make sure that you leave the place in a way similar to the one you found it when you checked in!
Many thanks for your understanding and your compliance with the rules.
The apartment is decorated very nicely and with a sense of style. The plants complet the apartment excellent. It was very clean and allowed my wife and me a wonderful stay in Paris. The surrounding area is ideal to make daily needs purchases. There are some nice restaurants in the area too. Access to the Metro is given in 7 min. The location is ideal for a romantic stay in Paris. By good weather you can reach Sacre Coeur by feet ;-).
Feedback from Romain was always very quick and to your complete satisfaction. Cause of his trip abroad, we haven't met Romain personally, but the keys were stored and handed out as agreed. In case of visiting Paris again, his home will definitifly be our first choice!
We once again had the pleasure of staying at Romain's amazing flat for our wedding anniversary celebration. Not only is Romain a gracious host but his flat is modern, warm and inviting. We so enjoy waking up and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the roof tops of Paris. The flat is convenient to both a main bus route and a metro stop so we were never far from the sights to see on our agenda of the day. The local super market is just one block away with many little shops lining that street as well. Of course the local bakery is close as well. We are sad to leave to happy to return again next year!
Romain is a lovely host and was very accommodating and adapted to our plans and schedules. The flat has a great location - perfect to experience Parisian lifestyle-surrounded by cafes, shops, bakeries etc. If you are looking for a clean, stylish flat with a lot of character and great views -Romain's flat certainly fits the bill!
The flat is nice and stylish with everything you need in a great location. The little terrace has a beautiful view and is lush and green.
We enjoyed our stay a lot! We didn't meet Romain but we spoke on the phone to organise our arrival. Romain was very friendly and the communication was great.
Thank you Romain!
The apartment was truly wonderful and unique. It has a beautiful gardened balcony where you can sit amongst the greenery and have breakfast, drink a cup of coffee etc. View from the windows is very pleasant! Montmartre is a great neighbourhood to stay in as well. Would really recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris.
Beautiful apartment, wouldn't hesitate to stay again, Roman was very friendly and prompt with answering all my questions. If you plan on staying in Paris, you can't go wrong with this apartment
Germain is an amazing host! The apartment was really charming, just like in the pictures, perfect for us 4, beautifully decorated in super location. Kitchen and bathroom just renovated – very fashionable, high-tech. The flat is clean, comfortable and the balcony amazing with all flowers and the view over the roofs of Monmartre is astonishing! Great location for everything! (Shops, foodstores, restaurants, metro, Sacre Couer...) We recommend it to everyone! Thanks Germain for this stay!!/Karin, Axel, Emmy and Martin

Fond of travelling and discovering new cultures. My favourite sports are horse-riding and scuba diving.
Very much interested in multicultural big cities (New York, London and Tel Aviv especially, with Paris first for sure!). I developped some kind of passion for gardening and you will make your own idea during your stay at Montmartre
