We have just moved form our previous home (also previously on Air BnB) and renovated our new dream home. It has 4 rooms that are vacant throughout the year in any case, so we would like to invite chilled, no-nonsense friends from all over to pop by!
We hope to have our home welcome you as a typical "home-style guest house" guest...
We have 4 guest rooms in our home (each private en-suite with shower and bath and a balcony overlooking stunning views), standing empty too many days of the year!
In our house, it's about feeling at home = Just relaxing and sharing stories of the adventures of life and of course, a magical journey through Namibia!
We are a gay couple and we love hosting friends, travelling and meeting people, so on your stay, you may meet up with some of our friends and we'll all just drink some wine, perhaps make some food together and chat.
Please be comfortable and don't mind dogs (we have Labradors) who are the children in our house!
Being the tourism industry ourselves, we'll happily share some travel tips, or even recommend a good restaurant in town for you dinner options.
Rolf & Hermann
As with a typical "home-style guest house" pretty much all the living space area are open for guests to relax and enjoy.
There is a separate guest kitchen downstairs, guest can use to cook, if staying for longer periods...
Interaction with Guests
We own a guesthouse in town and by the coast. Would live to interact super one on one always - but as we have very busy schedules it may not always be possible.
Klein Windhoek is one of the older upmarket neighbourhoods in the city. It's got huge old trees and embassies and stone mansions of a bygone German era. Its close to most shops and restaurants and our house is literally a 5-10 minute walk to Maerua Mall, just over the hill down the road!
walking is easy to the mall or shops of the neighbourhood (Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, German restaurants) and fuel stations too. taxi and public bus stops just down the road as well.
No formal meals included, Mall is just down the road for food and drinks.
For shorter staying guests requiring breakfast - please request so and we confirm a quoted price.
No Drugs Please.

Rolf and Hermann are great hosts. You feel prompt at home and you get the privacy you require. You can't make anything wrong with staying at that place. I will come back if they let me in. ***** 5 stars
We were so happy that we selected the right place to stay in Windhoek: stay with locals. Our hosts are so cheerful and caring. We enjoy sitting by the pool chatting with these guys about anything just came into our mind. So relaxing. Their house is beautiful and polished. They have outstanding kitchen that we can cook our dinners so we donot miss our home foods. We do feel at home when we live in their house. We also enjoy sitting in the balcony looking at Windhoek hilly streets…
Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
We were four friends visiting Windhoek for three days during a three week long trip in Southern Africa. Three of us stayed with Rolf and Hermann, and the fourth stayed at the Hilton. I am sure that we, who had Rolf and Hermann as hosts, were the lucky ones.
It was a pleasure to stay with and get to know Rolf and Hermann. We got to spend some time together at their lovely home, and one evening we had dinner together in a great restaurant. I hope to meet them again!
Rolf und Hermann are the ulimate hosts for Windhuk. Our highest exspectation on the place and the hospatility of the hosts were excelled. We absolutely enjoyed the get together with you and your guestfriends in your relaxing poolarea. We really hope that we will have the chance to come back one day. Rolf and Hermann thank you for a perfect holiday start Michael& Anke
From the minute I walked through the door I was made to feel totally at home. And what a home! The pictures really don't do the place justice; it's a palace.
But what makes it the best place I've stayed at on AirBnB are all the things that money can't buy. Welcoming, generous and interested in their guests, it's easy to have a great time in their company.
I will definitely be back in Windhoek and this is the first place I will look to stay at.
we spent two nights at rolf's and hermann's incredible huge and stylish klein windhoek house at the end of our namibia trip and just L.O.V.E.D. it there! they're both so cool and kind and generous and funny and smart and warm hearted... in addition the place is just gorgeous - and even includes drinks with friends plus breakfast plus chatting plus printer use plus google research plus ... whatever you may be in need of.

How's about chilled, but a workaholic - finding my "pleasure times" of reading and glasses of nice wine on the side more and more interesting...
Love music, cooking, talking utter rubbish to simply move along the harsh realities of life after a stressful day at work TOTALLY relaxing!
Life should not dictate me, and so should no one else try to either!
