The Retreat at Oatlands is a historic home that is part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Dating back to the 1790's, the home is surrounded by 400 acres of rolling hills, mature trees, gardens and ponds. The Inn boasts 6 bedrooms: 4 of which have private bathrooms, and 2 are Jack-and-Jill style. There is a large kitchen, comfortable sitting rooms, and a sunroom. You are close to the town of Leesburg, wineries, breweries, Harper's Ferry, the Blue Ridge Mountains and more.

The space
While there are stairs, we offer 2 downstairs bedrooms for your comfort. Enjoy a meal on the patio, in the sunroom, or formal dining room. The spacious kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, china along with crystal stemware.

Guest access
You have the entire home to yourself! Guests are also invited to explore the grounds and gardens of Oatlands Historic House & Gardens within easy walking distance. This includes beautifully manicured gardens and 8 miles of hiking trails. To learn more about Oatlands visit our website.

Other things to note
We want everyone to feel welcome during their stay:
- If you have accessibility issues, there are two first floor bedrooms.
- We do not offer cribs, highchairs or other baby furnishings. You are welcome to bring these items.
- Fires (this includes fires in the fireplaces, fire pits outdoors, sparklers, fireworks, etc.) are strictly prohibited and they will result in a $500 fine. No open flames of any sort.

Events cannot be booked through Airbnb.

I have lived in Leesburg for more than 20 years. It is a wonderful area to explore the countryside, wineries, restaurants, hiking, and history. Our property has a lot to offer for those looking to explore our gardens, hike our trails, or just get away in a home that is peaceful and relaxing, though only 10 minutes from downtown Leesburg.
