People who visit Alberta's little all-season town of Canmore (pop. 12,000) have big expectations. Once a coal town, Canmore gained notoriety during the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, and it’s been booming ever since as a recreational hot spot.
Just 70 miles from Calgary, Canmore is nestled in Alberta's Bow Valley, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It's the perfect locale for fishing, climbing, canoeing, all kinds of winter sports, and more. Banff National Park is approximately 7.5 miles from your resort, and world-famous Lake Louise is a little more than an hour's drive away.
If you want to take it easy, take a stroll through the quaint town. Its main street is home to galleries where painters, quilters, stained-glass artisans, and blacksmiths can be found at work. Or just relax in one of Canmore's many charming pubs or restaurants near your resort. With a little luck, you may even see a Hollywood film being shot here.

Katy is a nice, responsive, and welcoming host. The booking process went super smoothly even though we were communicating just through email within two province :) The apartment is definitely great. We have everything we needed, from cooking utensils to the super warm heating! Also the view right outside of the window is fantastic...snowy white mountains and 5 mins walk to a beautiful lake :) Anyway, we enjoyed the stay very much! Thank you very much dear Katy!
This is a great value compared to other lodging in the area. Not too far from Banff, and really close to downtown Canmore. We were out and about for most of our trip, but the room had everything we needed... the fireplace was a nice touch! Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a better value in an overall expensive resort area. Check-in was a breeze!
Katy was very nice in her contact emails and responded quickly to my questions about the unit in Canmore. The property is exceptional as was the unit. At first, we thought that a studio unit might be a bit small, even though there are only two of us, but this studio was lovely. A huge king size bed, a lovely space for eating, a couch and comfy chair for watching TV and a kitchen that had all that we really needed.
There was a complimentary laundry facility just down the hall as well as an outdoor pool and two hot tubs, one inside and one out. We couldn't have asked for more. Everything was very clean and we kept remarking how it felt like we were on a cruise.
Working with Katy was a pleasure! She responded very quickly to confirm our booking and to any other requests. Plus everything went extremely smoothly throughout our stay from check-in to check-out. The room was great: clean and well maintained and it had everything we needed. The staff at WorldMark were very kind and helpful as well. The location is great since it is only a few minutes from Canmore by car and it's right beside the Three Sisters. It is also very easy to get to Banff National Park from the resort. Overall we had a great experience!

I rent out my WorldMark timeshare -- 120+ resort locations all over the US, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and England.
My specialty is last-minute short-stay accommodations -- Except for holidays and summer weekends -- those book far in advance. You can book as far as 13 months out!
I have units that can accommodate as many as eight people. Have more than eight? You can rent more that one unit!
Almost all units have a complete kitchen. In addition to full-size appliances, you'll find plates, glasses, silverware, and other kitchen items.
