A seclusive, private vacation home architect designed and set in a stunning otherwordly landscape. Situated along the southernmost coast of Iceland a fifteen minute walk from Reynisfjara beach. The simple horizontal architecture is straightforward yet stylish. Inhabiting a predominantly agricultural area, this former farm has been given new life and transformed into a chic rural escape.
A quiet and tranquil vacation home you will remember for the rest of your life.
The space
The house is designed with the beautiful view in mind, I recommend spending time there. The combined dining room/living room area is spacious and with a well equipped kitchen makes for easy living. There is one spacious bathroom and three reasonably large bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably. Extra beds can be set up and a cot is available for infants.

The whole of the house is yours to enjoy.
The shed contains a whasher and dryer that is available to you along with a gas grill.

Iceland
The black sand/pebble beach, Reynisfjara the southern most part of Iceland is a fifteen minute walk from the house. The waves there are among the biggest in Europe and there is a spectacular view from the house at two glaciers, Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull. There is a restaurant “Black Beach Restaurant” located by the beach, they have a nice view and are always open for lunch and dinner.
On the south coast of Iceland there are many opportunities for mountaineering by car and foot and guided tours into the uninhabitable exciting landscape.
The nearest town is Vik, a 15 minute car ride from Presthus. There is a grocery store, Liquor store, a few restaurants, swimming pool and a golf course.
