Seaglass Haven was, for many years, the host’s seaglass art studio and gallery, Fire & Water Creations. (Hence the name) ☺. Totally remodelled and renovated it is now your haven, your peaceful retreat. We are within walking distance to the Inn at Bay Fortune, home of Chef Michael Smith’s famous Fireworks Feast. You can stroll to nearby beaches, read a book, or explore the Fortune area. It is a great place to walk, bike and swim. You can rent kayaks, paddleboards and canoes from Paddles on Fortune River a 15-minute walk or 5-minute car drive. 12 minutes away is the picturesque fishing village of Souris where you will find shopping, dining, groceries, fuel, post office, banking, laundry facilities, an historic lighthouse and the car ferry to the Magdalen Islands. En route to Souris visit Myriad Distillery, PEI’s first and only producers of a full range of artisan distilled spirits. Although they can’t claim to be the first makers of Shine on the Island, they do claim to be the best (and legal too). In 20 minutes you will find yourself at Basin Head beach, known for its ‘singing sands.’ And if you dare you can jump into the “run.” The tuna fishing capitol of the world is located just 25 minutes east at North Lake Harbour. Here you can book your own deep sea fishing excursion.
Visit Greenwich National Park 20 minutes away. Spend the day exploring the park's trails, walking the floating boardwalk and visiting the sandy dunes.
If golf is in your plans, Brudenell, Dundarave and Crowbush are all within 30 minutes. If you prefer a smaller course, Rolo Bay Greens, a 9-hole course, is just 5 minutes away.
We are a 50 minute drive to Charlottetown.
Lot's to do and all minutes away!

Hi I'm Teri and will be your host along with my husband, Allen. We love the area that we live in and can point you in the right directions for things to do, places to see , where to eat, etc. etc. We are both "retired" but keep ourselves quite busy with numerous activities. I am an artist, as you will probably deduct, when you stay with us. :) We both love to walk, hike, kayak, and totally enjoy the outdoors.
