2 bd/2 bath condo located on the border of Humboldt Park and Ukrainian Village, you get the best of both neighborhoods! We love our bright airy peaceful space! 3rd floor walk up of a three flat building on a family friendly block!
**Hi! Please message me first about your trip and your travel dates before making a reservation so we can sort things out! Also, if you have a special situation or want to request a different type of rate, let me know, maybe we can work something out depending on timing. Thank you!
Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo is located in Humboldt Park on the border of Ukrainian Village. We love our bright airy peaceful space! We're on the 3rd floor (walk up) of a three flat building.
Amenities include: hardwood floors, high ceilings, a bright spacious living room, HD cable, wireless internet, central heat and AC, kitchen, laundry, jacuzzi tub, room darkening shades in bedrooms, a deck off the master bedroom, and a private roof deck.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and large bathroom, and the second bedroom has a full size bed (it's a high quality, very comfortable thick futon with a thick featherbed mattress on top of that!). Each bedroom has clean white sheets and towels. We don't have any closet hanging or drawer space, but we do have luggage racks.
Street parking is safe and easy on our street, it's always available, and we have parking permits you can use during your stay. The CTA bus is 2 blocks away that will take you down to the loop, or anywhere around the city. We are not within (easy) walking distance of the subway. Or, you can walk around to the many neighborhood restaurants, bars, and shops within blocks of our home.
Our place is very peaceful and quiet. The neighbors are quiet and we only rent to people who are looking for a peaceful place to relax and use as a home base while exploring the city. This is a great option for grandparents coming into town to visit a new baby, or visit family nearby without having to stay on an air mattress! No entertaining, no parties (whatsoever!) at our place.
We prefer to rent to 1 or 2 people, and the max is 4. We can only rent to adults at this time, because of noise for the neighbors. Quiet older kids or teens with adults may be fine.
Get in touch if you're interested, and let me know what your situation is!
Guests have access to everything except for cabinets labeled "private". These are closets, bathroom drawers, and some kitchen cabinets.
We interact as much as you'd like. We won't be in town for your visit, but are available by phone call, text or email any time. We would like to know that you made it safely, and when you checked out!
We love our neighborhood! It's very walkable and close to two different busses, and there are rental bike stations within a few blocks as well. We have tons of great restaurants, bars and one of the best music venues in the city!
We are a few blocks from the Division bus and the Chicago bus. Both will take you downtown, or to the L.
-Let me when you’ve checked in, so I don’t worry about you!
-Remove shoes in the house at all times.
-Walk softly and keep voices down—the downstairs neighbors will appreciate it.
-Be quiet coming in and out of the building (up and down the stairs), children may be napping on the first floor. Sound travels easily downstairs in this apartment.
-Be careful of fabric on the couches, limit food and drinks to kitchen and dining table.
-Be respectful of our home, personal belongings, and our awesome neighbors.
-Bedroom/bathroom closets, dressers and drawers are private except in hall bathroom.
-Turn off lights, fans, and turn heat to 64 or lower if you leave for a few hours.
-Clean up after yourself completely.
-Refrain from smoking in our home.
- No pets (we're allergic!)
- No smoking
- Make yourself at home!
This is my second time staying at Hannah's place and it was just as lovely as the first time! It's spacious, well decorated and really cozy all at the same time. Will definitely be back for a third visit!
We had a great stay here. It was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is excellent too! I cannot imagine why anyone would chose a hotel on Michigan Avenue over this. Hanna was a great and helpful host. The listing was very accurate. I would stay again for sure.
Hannah's condo was just as described. Great Humboldt Park neighborhood. Hannah supplied lots of suggestions for groceries and restaurants within walking distance - this helped a lot since the weather was pretty bad when we arrived. Nice view of the skyline from the roof and kitchen. Wish the weather had been better so we could have spent more time on roof.
We used Uber very successfully from this location to go in and out of the city.
We appreciated Hannah's communication with us before and during our stay (especially since she has a new baby at home!). Thank you for offering this lovely space to travelers who are weary of hotel stays.
Hannah's place is amazing! It's bright and airy, super comfortable! She is an excellent host and a great communicator. Really great location as well. I highly recommend Hannah's place!
This place was beautiful and comfortable. All of the amenities you needed. The beds were great. We would definitely stay again.
Fantastic apartment, clean, spacious and very comfortable! Lots to do in the area and the hosts made sure that we knew of the different restaurants and amenities were made known to us.
Déco soignée, on a beaucoup aimé!!!

I run a music business with my husband Chris, and we split our time between LA and Chicago, which means we always have an open place in one of those cities! Normally we spend the first week of the month in Chicago, at which time we do not rent it. These periods of time are marked as unavailable in our calendar.
We are very clean and neat, we don't smoke, and we don't have any pets--we always have an organized/clean spot to rent out for short term stays. We're usually on the go, working wherever we are, and we love what we do. Both homes have home offices and are great places to live, relax OR work from. There is one master bedroom and one simple kids/guest room in both homes.
We love finding great restaurants in both LA and Chicago, and sharing our recommendations!
