My mom and I had an amazing experience staying in Tania's apartment. We felt right at home.
The location is perfect- it's basically in the center, so close to great quality restaurants, the market, the pier, the beautiful, huge park, bars, cafes, shopping, and the amazing palace!
Yet so quiet! There was just a little noise at night from outside the window when people walked by, but only because we left the windows open, and people really don't walk by that often as the apartment is tucked away in a quiet residential area. So nice to come home to some quiet.
The apartment itself is lovely- it's decorated in a very fun way, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has all the necessities, great shower, and a good size for two people.
Tania was an amazing host, she was so friendly and nice to talk to. She gave us great recommendations for things to do and made us feel right at home. Espresso in the morning on our last day was also a very sweet gesture that she went out of her way to do :) we booked the morning of our arrival, and she was so accommodating and met us late at night when we finally arrived. It was so nice after a long bus adventure to have such a welcoming host and comfortable place to settle in.
Overall the apartment was definitely worth the value and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot in Split! We would come back again definitely!
I would definitely stay here again! Tania was excellent at responding quickly to my questions. The tip to park on Omiska street was perfect. Her mother and daughter checked us in, and there were fresh cherries from a friend. Everything in the apartment was clean, tidy, and working. Close to everything, but quiet location. Tania's restaurant recommendations were fabulous- Uje was our favorite.
Great! Great!! Lovely host!! She was very kind and prepared everything like city map and good restaurants & cafes information. We could go anywhere easily.(Location is good to go any hot spots) And her house has good interior and clean. We had a good sleep until noon :) Everything is O.K, and Perfect! I think if your visit here, you will fall in love with everything in Split. Thank you so much.
Tania could not have been a better host, she was very welcoming and informative about the area. Could not have been more helpful. Apartment was beautiful and in a lovely area, and conveniently a 2 minute walk from the market and the palace. I can't recommend Split enough but having somewhere so nice to stay was the icing on the cake! I would recommend to anyone.
I had such a nice holiday in Split and Tania's hospitality had a great influence to that. She gave
useful tips of the restaurants, shops and places to visit and was immediately ready to help if there was a need for that.
The apartment and everything in it was very clean, which I find very important. Also all electrical equipment worked well and I really enjoyed my time there. Her place was very cosy, the neighborhood was clean and peaceful and I certainly would like to stay at her place again. I warmly recommend her apartment and Tania as a host.
The apartment is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from Diocletian's Palace, bakeries, supermarkets and Bačvice beach. The apartment is very easy to find, and in a quiet area.
The apartment itself is cosy, and very comfortable for two people. It is clear that care has been taken into the apartment's decoration. The kitchen area is a bit on the small side, but is manageable for preparing simple meals. The bathroom is spacious enough. There is a radiator in the bathroom, which is great for chillier mornings/nights. One criticism is that the water heater takes a long time to warm up, though this can be mitigated by a little planning.
The host lives upstairs of this apartment, which is convenient.
Tania is a very thoughtful and attentive host, who is always willing to help out in any way and give great local advice. She puts in a great deal of effort to ensure her guests have the best experience of Split. Whether it's recommending terrific local restaurants, providing guests with a complimentary SIM card (on request) or inviting guests along to join her on local excursions, Tania always gives her all to be the best host possible. She responds extremely promptly to all messages, which is very useful for getting advice when out and about.
Tania's mother Alenka is wonderfully hospitable, and helped us with checking in and out of the apartment. Her English is understandable, but I'm sure Croatian or Italian speakers would find her even more lovely than we did!
Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay at Tania's apartment. We would highly recommend Tania's apartment to all who visit Split, and would definitely stay there again if visiting Split again in the future.
Tania was sooo nice! She met us near the harbor and helped us take our luggage to her apartment. She gave us some tips on where to go and circled all of her favorite restaurants on a map she gave us. Also, she left us some nice gifts, which I thought was so sweet and thoughtful.
The apartment was very nice and was fully equipped with appliances in case you wanted to cook yourself.
