Have had a wonderful 2 night stay at Silvia's lovely B&B. Very comfortable rooms and excellent hospitality. Despite very heavy rain the views from the dining room were wonderful, would love to return and enjoy on a sunny day! Thanks for a delightful break. X
We were very happy with our experience at Tullaleagan Guesthouse . Silvia was a wonderful hostess who made us feel comfortable and right at home. She was extremely helpful with any question we had and very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely stay there again!
The host canceled this reservation 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Colazione deliziosa e abbondante.
I had a very warm stay at Silvia's, from the hot coffee and chocolate chip cookies at arrival, roaring turf fire in the evenings, a steamy high pressure shower and the biggest breakfasts I've ever eaten, cooked to order. The views out of all the windows were postcard quality and changed constantly with the weather, from sunny to moody to dark and mysterious. I didn't have time to see all that I wanted in the area and hope to return some day to explore the hills, lakes and fijords in that Silvia showed me on her maps. The house is 10 minutes off the main highway through the region, but that meant peace and quiet at the end of the day but with food and services fairly close by when needed. The house was very clean and the bed was the best of my vacation. Thank you for your hospitality Silvia!
If your are looking for a real irish country side experience this is the ideal place. The listing is great! It looked exactly like in the pictures and the views from there were amazing. It is 6.5 km away from Oughterard, easy to find following Silvia's directions. Silvia is very sweet and friendly and made us feel very confortable. The bedroom and the bathroom were spotless and breakfast was outstanding! I would definitely go back
With a friendly twinkle in her eye and a great big smile, Silvia offers the most relaxing B and B I've stayed in for a long while. The view over breakfast is spellbinding, there is a terrific selection of both books and food (including perfectly ripe Brie), and the whole place is spotless. If you're a walker, I imagine this would be pretty close to heaven to come back to.
