Room with a view in heart of Copenh

Bed & Breakfast - Private room · Gammel Kongevej, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 1610, Denmark

The Space

Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen. The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes and costs around 35 DKK (4,5 € or 6 $) with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.

We live in Vesterbro, which is one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in Copenhagen. Here you will find plenty of cafés, bars, coffeshops, galleries, fleamarkets, stores and buslines right outside the door. Furthermore, you will be in walking distance to Tivoli, the waterfront, the city center with all the historical sights, and the lakes with good opportunities for strolling and jogging is just outside the door.

The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.

Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without elevator.

There is separate, shared, toilet and bath room.

You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.

Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

We - the family, including our two children (14 and 16) - love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.

We have run this Bed & Bath during 14 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Bente and Erik's apartment is in a perfect location to explore Copenhagen. It's very easy to find and walk to from Central Station. I was made very welcome and able to come and go as I pleased - which suited me perfectly. I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper - it's not noisy but the room is near the front door of the apartment so you might be disturbed by people coming in late/going out early. The apartment has wooden floors and you might benefit from taking slippers.
Overall - a very positive experience and one I would recommend.

  • I only stayed here for one night and was in and out pretty quick and for that the room was perfect! Bente's husband kindly met me and gave me keys, a map and some great advice. Fabulous location, as almost everywhere is walkable. Meat packing district really close. The room is a sub-section of another bigger room (I think a bedroom) with a wall and big wooden double doors between. The doors are locked and there is a proper thick wall, but be aware that you can hear talking. But ear plugs in and I was asleep within minutes of laying on the very comfy clean bed. The toilet and bathroom are seperate and quite a distance from the room, which I didn't mind but some people might. I thought the room served my purpose excellently, but I wouldn't want an extended stay as you would certainly begin to feel in the way!

  • Lovely room with a beautiful view across the water. No noise from the street thanks to double glass windows. Great atmospere in the centuries old building. Very centrally located, just a short walk from central station. Good train connection to the airport. Bente and Eric are great! We recommend their B&B!

I am a young woman, in the beginning of the fifties. When I'm not working - as a social educator - I am playing with my children (14 and 16), and my husband!, reading books, baking, knitting, travelling. We, me and my husband Erik, are very engaged in the development of our lovely city, Copenhagen, and will with great pleasure inform you about historical and modern sights in and around Copenhagen. We are outgoing, happy and love good company. And love our bikes as any other person from Copenhagen..
