Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen. The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes and costs around 35 DKK (4,5 € or 6 $) with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.
We live in Vesterbro, which is one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in Copenhagen. Here you will find plenty of cafés, bars, coffeshops, galleries, fleamarkets, stores and buslines right outside the door. Furthermore, you will be in walking distance to Tivoli, the waterfront, the city center with all the historical sights, and the lakes with good opportunities for strolling and jogging is just outside the door.
The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.
Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without elevator.
There is separate, shared, toilet and bath room.
You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
We - the family, including our two children (14 and 16) - love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.
We have run this Bed & Bath during 14 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.
Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende in Kopenhagen. Das Zimmer ist super zentral. 10 min vom Bahnhof entfernt und perfekt um Kopenhagen zu Fuß kennen zu lernen.
I only spent one night with family but they all seem very friendly and the room was nice and clean. Very convenient!
Eric and Bente were very friendly and welcoming. The room is great, with a lovely view of the lake and although I stayed in cold wet February the room was very cosy. The house is within easy walking distance of many of the main sites. It's about 7 mins walk to the main train station and from there only 14 mins to the airport, so it's really handy for travel connections. I would definitely recommend staying with Eric and Bente.
We had a quick but wonderful visit to Copenhagen and enjoyed our short stay at Bente and Eric's apartment. Both Bente and Eric were extremely helpful and welcoming to my wife and I. Eric helped with directions and pointing out interesting locations. He was accommodating and helpful upon our arrival. Bente even allowed us to continue to keep our luggage safe at the apartment on our last day after checking out. The room was nice and just like the photos. The view was excellent as well (we got a view of the lake which was frozen at the time). If we have the opportunity to visit Copenhagen again, we would stay at Bente's again (hopefully not in such a rush next time!).
Very nice family and typical danish hosting in the middle of the city!
We had a nice stay at Bente's beautiful home. The room was very light with a lovely view as described in the advert.
Our hosts were very friendly!
We would happily recommend.
Nice cozy apartment very close to the city center.
Erik was very helpful and gave us all necessary information about the city.
We had a great time at Bente's apartment. The room, all the equipment and the bathroom are nice and clean and the location of the apartment cannot be better.
In addition, Bente and her family are such friendly people and great hosts!
It was a very nice apartment very close to central Copenhagen. The hosts were super welcoming!
thanks Erik and Bente & family for your lovely welcome and the delicious banana cake.
I arrived after a very long flight and felt very much at home. A great location, amazingly beautiful building and aspect from my room. Highly recommended to travellers who are looking beyond the surface of the touristic city and would like to explore a lively, layered historic district.
