Our 1932 Bungalow sits in the heart of The Avenues of Chico. This classic Chico Charmer is in a great neighborhood with close proximity to downtown, the CSU Chico campus, Enloe Hospital, and Bidwell Park. There is so much history in The Avenues and all of Chico, so we hope that you get out and explore all that our town has to offer.

The space
The Bungalow is a darling home that has everything you need to make your stay in Chico enjoyable and relaxing.

This home was recently updated with a brand new kitchen featuring quartz counters with a large single basin sink, dishwasher and garbage disposal, and modern open shelving with all the glasses and mugs for your beverage of choice. We provide coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks but we encourage you to enjoy one of the many local eateries around town!

The bathroom has a large shower and vanity with plenty of light for your morning routine equipped with a hairdryer, iron, and shampoo/conditioner.

The refinished original douglas fir wood floors that run through the living spaces and kitchen were brought back to life!

Each bedroom has a queen sized bed with pillows and extra blankets should you need them.

There is a gas grill available for your BBQ needs. We ask that you make sure the gas is turned off after use. Please feel free to enjoy the backyard and lawn.

We take great pride in restoring the history of homes in our area and we are honored to have you as our guest. Please enjoy your visit to Chico and your stay at The Bungalow.

Other things to note
The yard is not completely fenced if you are traveling with children.

Our home, as well as all other homes located in The Avenues, is close to Enloe Hospital which has a helicopter. This helicopter flies over periodically. When you hear that helicopter, they are probably saving a life.

Guests do not have access to laundry for this unit.

There is a porch light that is dusk-to-dawn. This switch cannot be turned off to ensure that it is on when guests arrive in the evening. Please note the home is located in a neighborhood, this light and other street/porch lights may be seen through the windows at night.

There are two units on the property. You will be staying in the main house, closest to the street.
