The space
Villa Ginger is a large house with multiple areas to relax and retreat. Nightly rates are based on the number of guests so each adult and all children over 2 should be including in the guest list for an accurate count. The master bedroom has a private patio for early morning coffee or late nightcaps. There is a bonus room for reading, playing games or private conversations. All bedrooms, bonus room and living room, patio have AC and/or fans and the property is reducing its carbon footprint with solar hot water and solar panels linked to the electric grid. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your favorite dishes or for a chef to work culinary magic. Brunch or dinner can be cooked by our private chef, please contact your host for menus and prices. There is a washer and dryer that is used by the staff to wash beach towels and a few personal items for guests if necessary.

Each group is booked separately and have access to the entire house. Create your own special meals or enjoy amazing Jamaican cuisine by our private chef.

The pool is available for swimming and socializing 24/7. The lighted tennis courts and gym and can be reserved in advance.

Tara Estates is new and super friendly. The area is close to the airport (15 mins.), the multiple restaurants and grocery shopping at Fairview Shopping Centre (8 mins.); the beaches and restaurants at Freeport (10 mins.); the World Heritage Site beach at Doctors Cave on the Hip Strip (20 mins) and Reading Reef for boat rental (5 mins). It is directly on the A1 highway that connects with Ocho Rios (Dunn's River Falls) to the East and Negril's 7-mile beach to the West. It is close to the A2 to Black River, St.Elizabeth (Pelican Bar and Appleton Estate) as well as Jakes, Treasure Beach and Little Ochie. One of the few neighborhoods in Jamaica where fences and gates are discouraged and a walking track runs throughout the property. The community pool is perfect for children and adults with an extended shallow end plus a deeper section for swimmers as well as wide decks for sunbathing. The pool is open 24/7 for early morning or late night swims. Please note there are no lifeguards and children should be closely supervised.
