Peter is a lovely guy, and like the other reviewers have said, he'll take you for a walk through town and help with local tips. A great tip was to catch the bus from Castries down to Soufriere, which costs $8EC! That being said, I didn't love my stay. I think the place is overpriced for what it is. It's a little run down, the windows do not keep out mosquitos (which absolutely murdered me!!), and somehow the place is always hotter inside than outside (no AC). The internet was almost unusable, with maximum speeds of around 200kb/s. It's great if you want to rough if a bit in Soufriere, but I wouldn't recommend paying more than $50/night. The local hotels might be better options. I also made the mistake of booking too long. You only need maximum 2 days in Soufriere to see everything. I would recommend spending a day at the waterfalls/volcano/mudbaths ... and a second day taking a water taxi to Sugar Beach which is absolutely gorgeous. But you will waste your time if you stay more than 2 nights.

Roomy, quaint home in private, safe location with beautiful garden and stunning views! Rent a car and you're within minutes of posh resorts and attractions without the "all inclusive" resort price tag. Gracious, considerate host who was so ready to help us to feel acquainted and comfortable. Most importantly two minutes to resteraunt for am espresso, lol! Enjoyed our stay...great value, would stay again.

It was a pleasure having the opportunity to stay at Peter's place. The view is incredible and Peter really has a great way of making sure guests have an amazing stay. He took the time to give us a tour and also gave us expert advice of the local area. You are in the best hands with Peter Jackson!

Peter is a wonderful host, he makes sure you have all you need from when you land at the airport to when you arrive at his place and throughout the stay. Everyone in Soufriere seems to know him so you feel like one of the locals straight away. Peter's place is a great place to base yourself for activities in and around Soufriere

Book with peter and you will not regret it! He is the one you need to stay with if you are looking for a vacation living the caraibbean life! He knows everyone and everyone knows him in the area so tell people you are staying with him and you might get great deals on alot of stuff! Peter is very friendly and his dog mocha will come after you! The house is very nice amazing patio to relaxe on and the bed is very comfy nice living room and everything you need in the kitchen to cook up something if you decide to buy from the local supermarket in soufriere. The local people, nicest and kindest people you might ever see depending on how you treat them. They are very polite and like to talk with you if you do not mind. We stayed there for a week and peter did all of the work to book our excursions so don't stress tell him what you would like to do and he will organize everything for you. I highly recommend this place if you are not looking to live the luxurious Resort life.

When you stay in Peter's place, you're going to experience St Lucia the St Lucian way. Peter is a warm kind host and his hospitality is legendary. The apartment comes with his great taste in music which we enjoyed on balmy evenings. Peter will organise everything for you so just book the place, relax and enjoy the unique experience.

Originally from the UK I have now been in St Lucia for over 25 years and I love to share my knowledge of St Lucia with others.

Saint Lucia is known for great beaches, the Pitons & Sun Sun Sun. There are also a multitude of other interesting places off the beaten path for you to explore.

I am a professional photographer and have Nikon Cameras/ Lens's available to hire.

It's truly amazing what an Island of only 27 miles long has to offer!!
