This spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartment is just 1 block away from the famous Florida street (pedestrian), the Galerias Pacifico Shopping Mall and the beautiful Plaza San Martin, Puerto Madero is also quiet close (3 blocks away), the same with Buquebus dock and Retiro bus and train station. There are also many bars and good restaurants. Despite being in downtown, the flat is internal and quiet. It offers a living-dining with a sofa-bed (trundle bed pulls out for kids) and a dining table for four people, one bedroom with a double bed, an equipped kitchen, one full bathroom, and one half bath. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi internet access, satellital TV, air conditioning in living, heating, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishes, kitchenware, linens and towels.
I would strongly recommend taking a beer or a cup of wine in any of the after office bars at Reconquista street. On the other hand, taking subway (the nearest station is 2 blocks away and is called San Martín) to San Telmo will last no longer than 15 minutes, you should go to this bohemian and historical neighborhood on sundays, when a big fair takes place in the streets, it is a nice place to go at night too. Also "El Establo" is a great place to taste argentian famous meat and is located just one block away (in Paraguay and San Martín).
The rate includes everything: gas, electricity, water, phone and internet. Maid service is included, once a week, in rentals over 10 days.

I stayed a week there. The apartment is very well-located (in the Microcentro, close to a Metro station), very well-furnished and clean. Martin is also a very good host who gave me lots of information about the city. Highly recommendable!
We got to Martin's place with no problems. It was very clean and comfortable. It was very centrally located .Everything we needed was nearby. There is a tourist information place nearby where you can get a map, guidebook to the city, tickets to different places as well as tickets to the hop on -off tourist bus..We enjoyed walking on Florida Street as well. Thank you Martin.
Martin was a great host and made me feel very welcome, greeting me personally and showing me tying the flat. The flat was really central which went lots of attractions were in walking distance or you could jump on the Subte nearby. I definitely recommend it for anyone that wants to be in the heart of everything in BA.
This is a great apartment. I stayed here three months and was very comfortable. Stylish, nice pictures on walls, nice wooden floors and a big bookshelf.
The bed looks a bit small in the photo, but it is a normal queen sized bed. The power points were of varied types, the most common being Argentine style. There's lots of books on the bookshelf in English and Spanish. Kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery etc.
It's quite a way from any streets. Most nights it was completely quiet and I couldn't hear anything outside. A few nights I heard partying coming from somewhere, but it wasn't too loud. I also heard one or two car horns, but this was very, very rare. I'm a light sleeper, so if there was noise, I would have noticed. On a related note, the bedroom window is equipped with blind that blacks out just about all light. Great for siestas and at night for those of us who are sensitive to light.
The doorman is helpful and nice, he's there in the morning till around 14:00 and then from (phone number hidden). Martin was a good host and gave me some good suggestions when I first arrived for stuff to do and where to eat.
I love the location. There are bars nearby. There's a lavandaria a few buildings away. Florida street is a block away. It's about a 30 minute walk to Recoleta or San Telmo in the other direction. Very short walk to Puerto Madero to get some sea breeze (which, being Australian, I needed).
The best thing about this apartment is location. It seems like no one likes Microcentro, the neighborhood where apartment is located, but I loved it. Within less than 30 seconds walk from the apartment you will have several very good and interesting bars, restaurants and coffee shops which I keep coming back to to eat, drink, work and take someone on a date even though I live in another area now. It is also very strategically and conveniently located providing easy access to the places of interest and transportation. Although in some areas of Microcentro you may feel insecure, the vicinity of the apartment situated just one block from lively Florida street and a five star hotel is totally safe to walk at night.
The apartment is very modest and it was a little bit cold in there during the last days of autumn however I would say it is one of the best value for money deals in the city.
I was staying in the apartment for one month so I really enjoyed weekly cleaning and the change of bed linen.
The host, Martin is very professional, accommodating and easy to communicated with.
Martin and the apartment were both great! The location is excellent and Martin was very accommodating to my checkin and out schedule which was a bit unusual. I only stayed in the apartment a few days, but would definitely stay there again.
Perfect location, very close to Florida street, 10-20 minuts walk to various subway lines, San Telmo and restaurants. If you're up to some night life you should go to Palermo.
great host, very informative and easy to get a hold of. the place has a great location and was convenient. thanks again for a great visit
The flat is very well located, one block from the beautiful Plaza San Martín and the famous Kavanagh building. It is also a big one bedroom flat so it can easily fit 3 people. Although it is in the middle of the centro, it is not at all noisy as it faces the interior (this also means no view of the city). The downside is there is not enough cookware available, but Im sure Martín can easily fix that. There are not big or cheap supermarkets in the neighbourhood cause it is not a residencial area, something to consider if you want to cook well and not eat out all the time. Another good thing, the library is amazing.
Martín is number one! Easy going, helpful, and fair. Quick to respond in the run up to my stay. I am doing a work about the culture of Buenos Aires and he had always gave me valuable tips especially about music. It also sent a lists of suggested great places to see and eat while i were there.
The apartment is in a nice central area, close to subway and Calle Florida, with many markets, good food and stores near. The place was clean, cozy, airy, with many books, hot water and air, the bed comfy, perfect WIFI and had everything i needed.
I definitely recommend the Martín's apartment, as he clearly run it as a professional operation. And a bonus! For those unaware he is musician and a good one, of the "El Limacoco"! See ya Martín.
