Brand new, purpose built accommodation at the foothills of Mount Cole in the heart of the Victorian Pyrenees. Set well away and private from the main house, with open living/kitchen, bedroom and large bathroom. Picturesque views of the valley with a mountain backdrop in the most idyllic and quiet location where you can relax and unwind before touring the Pyrenees or exploring the stunning mountain region. Leave uplifted with a feeling of calmness and rejuvenation. We know you will love it!

The space
This light, bright, sunny modern home has all you need to hide away and enjoy the peaceful surrounds, fresh mountain air and stunning views. Expect to feel overawed with the sights that surround you and get carried away in a magical sense of freedom and peace.
Enter in to the open plan kitchen/living, put your feet up and sit back in one of the comfortable recliners while you take in the view from all angles or watch your favourite program on the wall-mounted smart tv. Grab a book and catch up on some reading while you listen to the birds or watch the native animals and resident pet cows outside your yard.
The kitchen has a built in electric oven, gas cook top, and sink, with glass splash-back providing another view of the birds and mountain backdrop. There is a fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, coffee plunger and water purifier. All crockery and cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils and glassware are provided to cook for yourself. Local wine and chocolates on arrival. Breakfast ingredients provided for up to 3 day stays and there is tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Please tell us when booking if you have any food allergies.
Relax outside with a glass of wine or hot drink and toast marshmallows around the fire-pit whilst being mesmerised by the stunning star filled sky which is simply breath taking on clear nights. (Fire restrictions apply in summer)
Inside, the house is warmed by passive solar from the sunny windows, or by reverse cycle air-conditioning which also cools the house in summer, with remote ceiling fans to living and bedroom areas. Please help conserve energy by turning it off if you go out for extended periods.
Whilst the accommodation itself is completely wheel-chair accessible, with wide doorways, ramp to entrance, and toilet and shower access, the terrain of the surrounding property may be more difficult to navigate on a mountainside, with our gravel roads and undulating tracks, but certainly come and stay if you just want to settle in and relax and rest and enjoy the views. Your host Margie, is a fully qualified nutritionist and can offer optional wellness packages with nutrition consults and meal planning while you're here so you can arrive home with a whole new strategy for staying well!
When you're here, admire the divine artworks adorning the wall space, offered for sale by local Victorian artists. Amazing!!
The price is indicated for 2 guests however we can provide a fold out bed, ideal for a child/teenager. Email us for pricing re extra person.

Other things to note
Guests who are animal lovers are welcome to visit with the pets, help us feed the cows, or play with Kevin the minipig and Clancy the Bernese Mountain Dog. Kevin would love having someone to brush him and give him a big scratch so feel free to venture up to his pen and jump in, he will expect food but remember he's a vegetarian, he loves corn chips, he will keep nudging you for food so show him your open hands and say "all gone" and he will stop and wait for a tummy rub. Our property is rugged and undulating and care needs to be taken 'watch your step' and shut all gates that you open. Ask us first and we'll find out if it's ok to go next door and check out the life size dinosaurs at Bracken Ridge!
For mobile phone reception we must advise that Vodafone receives poor reception in our out of the way location, Optus can be hit and miss, Telstra is pretty good mostly but why not see it as a chance to detox from technology for a few days!
If you are cooking meals in the kitchenette please use the exhaust fan over the stove and slightly open a window to avoid lingering food aroma's for the next guests in the small space (thank you)
