It has a private entrance from the deck through a locking sliding glass door. Open to Rain Forrest and Star Gazing at the night.

The space
It has its own private entrance from outside. It is a private room with a key to lock the sliding glass door to outside (main entrance). There also is no access to the main house. This room is set up primarily for a single traveler, although it is a very cozy place for couples as well.
We are situated on the slopes of Kilauea Volcano in Leilani estates and are very close to the recent lava flow eruption.
This is a 400 sq ft. room including a private bathroom and small outside seating deck. Where you’ll be

Pāhoa, Hawaii, United States

Our neighborhood went through some tough times during the 2018 Kilauea eruption. please be respectful of the neighbors and their privacy. We did evacuate during this eruption but are back living in our house again. Kilauea volcano itself is more than 20 mile away.
There is a beautiful park located on Moku st. that has a huge grass field, childrens playground and a workout circuit that is on a walk/running path that goes around the perimeter of the park.

Tak has been a Hawaii tour guide operator for the past 7 years. He specializes in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park tours and Mauna Kea star gazing for Japanese tourists. Tak was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan and later immigrated to the United States during his college years. He lived and raised his family as a software engineer in California for most of his career. Eventually, seeking a change of pace, He moved his family to the Island of Hawai'i which they now call home. It was not an easy transition, but together with his son Justin they developed a piece of property, built their home and made a life for themselves and their family. We are proud to have been residents of this beautiful island for the past 12 years. Justin is currently a student of Tropical Ag at UHH / Triathlete / wild hog hunter / AirBnB host. Justin enjoys working in the land and has a strong passion for food sustainability. He has created an abundant backyard garden that we enjoy gathering nutritious produce and herbs off of. We both enjoy hiking, yoga, meditation, and the laid back style of Hawaii life. We would like to invite you to experience the Puna native rain forest, Immense lava flow fields, picturesque views, along with beautiful beach and forest hikes. We regularly enjoy visiting the nearby bustling farmers markets. The Kalapana night market every Wednesday is an unforgettable Hawaii nightlife experience that we are sure you will enjoy. Right from our property you can enjoy some of the best star gazing in the world, along with the cleanest air and water. We feel truly blessed to live in such an abundance of beauty, and would love to share this experience with you.
